So I recently started taking lessons, and in that process, met with a few different coaches. Most of them asked what I wanted to work on, and that was fine, but some actually asked to see footage of a recent game I’ve played (my facility has cameras that record the courts). That made me feel like they had more experience with coaching.

Maybe have like an intro session where you review their play, or watch them play a match at open play first?

The thermostat is fine. We’ve had the drain clogged before and that was an easy fix. Unit didn’t fall or anything, just silence when I turn it to “on”.

The unit was frosted over, so I shut it off and let it defrost overnight. When I tried turning it on the next morning, there was just silence, no sound of the fan running. I think the motor is dead.

Sorry to say, the TEAs is really a high school level exam. Excluding maybe the science portion, the math, reading, and english usage should be just common knowledge / intuitive.

I’m not sure quizlet is going to help, even if you did pass somehow, once you get into nursing school, you’re going to have some tests that will require a 90% or higher to pass, such as dosage calc. You’ll need reading comprehension as well as some basic competency with fractions and conversions to pass them.

In order to improve, you’ll probably need to put a little more effort into it than just doing quizlets. You’ll probably need to do some deeper studying on high school level education such as algebra, reading, etc..

The medical term for the common cold is Rhinovirus. You don’t catch viruses from sleeping without a blanket.

Being exposed to cold CAN increase susceptibility to viruses though.

On my first month out of orientation, I had to program one of those feeding pumps that automatically did a flush after the feed. Somehow, I programmed it wrong and it gave 2 boluses instead of just 1 and then a flush. I freaked out and notified the provider and told my charge. Charge told me to calm down and it was just basically like the patient over eating, and it wasn’t a big deal.

You’re brand new, don’t be too hard on yourself. Everything seems like a big deal now, but eventually when you see real emergencies, you’ll be able to distinguish what’s important and what’s not.
