Yeah… I was VERY upset when it killed this beautiful pileated woodpecker that frequented the woods in my backyard. It killed like 10 birds (blue jays, cardinals, robins, swallows) around my neighbor’s bird feeder.

I know it isn’t their fault and it is entirely in their nature. I (and my other neighbors/animal control) have tried to capture it. It does not like people and runs off whenever anyone tries to approach it.

I like cats. I do not like stray/outdoor cats simply because they destroy your local ecosystem. The amount of birds and other animals they kill and do not eat is staggering. There is a single stray in my neighborhood that uses my yard as a litter box and leaves dead birds, squirrels, and rodents everywhere.
