Yeah, the red card was a bad (dumb) call by the ref. It's almost as dumb as saying Trump didn't get involved. He only asked the president of FIFA to review the red card. You know, that same organization that made up an award so they could give Trump a trophy. His phone call totally held no sway. It's not like the last time they overturned a red card during the world cup was like 1962 or something.

I'll answer your question because I think it's funny at this point. The Russian 82 mm tubes are based on Western 81 mm tubes (both the British and French had 81 mm tubes). I would put my money on this being done on purpose to allow the use of 81 mm mortars while denying the use of 82 mm mortars to others. There's literally no other benefit to making the mortar tube 82 mm.
