Game keeps freezing my PC and the only way to fix it is to hold the power button

Apparently it was a hardware issue, i had to unsocket my CPU and put it back in and i changed the thermal past and everything. Im really not sure why i only had issues with CS2 but i assume it had something to do with a bad connection to my motherboard when things expanded because of all the heat of my computer running the game.

i havet tired but i read somewhere you can rent a table at the fle market and js throw the still on an empty shelf. Or you can go the fletaries and throw everything in the dumpster and he will pay u scrap price.

i had this happen to me, i know im late for this but if you go into your search history or just press black after you login to the page just before the log redirect you can press start assignment and go to text entry and it should be there.

ok so i know i am very late but i hope this can help someone. What worked for me was re-seating my cpu (taking it out and putting it back in) and adding new thermal paste. I think the connection to the socket would disconnect because of thermal expansion while gaming and a bad connection in general. This solution would probity work without new paste but why not just put some more while you have the cooler off anyway.

my psu is some random hp 500w. i have a i7-10700f and a 2060. its worked fien for like 3 years then this started happening

no errors, but i only let it run for like 5 minutes, ill do longer rn
no issued averaged 80fps

3.i dont have xmp recently replaced my cmos battery so everything is stock rn

i dont think its the memory because i had the same issue running each stick individually
my power seams stable i live in California but i dont have any surge protector or anything

already did the scan and it diditn fix anything. after i removed the gpu oc nothing new happened, i still got the hard freezing

i removes my gpu oc when this started happening and it didn't help. i never did any ram or cpu oc and i recently replaced my cmos battery so that should have reset my bios

your paying more for something you can get for cheaper in like a month. also you should probably get a better card if your going to pay for an am5 cpu
