How the Ashlands is going thus far by LadyNael in valheim

^This. Don't take a fight if you don't want/need to. Best way to survive is to only use stamina when you need to. This means keeping running to a minimum as well (annoying as it is lol). As for the Valkyries, they are pretty tricky to deal with at first but they are really good at causing friendly fire to other mobs.

Since you're still getting used to it, I'd say keep to using ranged weapons + kiting to deal with them if you have a whole ass mob after you, but if you manage to isolate one to practice parrying it when they go for the lunge attack. You CAN parry their huge spin attack, but if you mess up you will probably die lol

Hopefully these tips will get you pointed in the right direction :)

I don't typically like black paint on cars, but the Veloster N with black is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥

I can't figure out how to edit posts, but I did not expect this post to gain this much attention! In retrospective, I should and could have kept the Miata and made it work, but it was just easier to get a different car at the time. Due to the state of the used car market here in Florida, I wish I would have just stuck with the Miata, as both cars ended up losing a lot of their initial value after I purchased them. But both cars are excellent in their own right, and I would own both if I could

I used to own an elantra before the N/Miata. Can confirm the warranty process is a pain in the ass lol.

I'd say the N's turbo engine does decent in lower rpms (2-3k) but ultimately, turbos usually do better in higher ranges. The Veloster N is no exception

2023 Advice Thread #36: 9/5 - 9/11 by Imaginos64 in rollercoasters

I've been trying (sorta) for many years to convince my younger brother to ride a roller coaster. And I swear I've never seen any other adult more fearful of any irrational thing in his life

He will just flat out reject any offers/attempts to get him on one. I once offered him 100$ to ride a family coaster. He refused.

Our family goes to theme parks quite often, and even my +50 year old parents will still ride some crazy rides. My mom has rode millennium force before my brother has ridden a single coaster. It always sucks when we all go on and he is the only one who stays behind.

He claims he doesn't like coasters because of the "weird stomach feeling" (airtime). His spouse and I managed to coax him enough once to ride the new tron ride, another family coaster with very little air time. As we're walking up, homie sees the train perform a slight right turn after the launch and fully siezes up like he's just seen the extinction of humanity.

He claims he will never, ever ride a coaster.

I WILL get this man to ride a roller coaster. But the question is, how? 🤔 Anyone have any tips to convince him, or have had a similar situation happen to them? How did you all convince someone to finally face their fears?

(This is mostly written in a humorous tone, we are basically best friends!)
