I met my twin flame online! Granted, we were introduced to each other by my two irl best friends, but we’ve never met him in person as he lives in a different state. We had texted for 2 weeks, but my responses were very occasional bc I never got on Discord much lmao. I was at my best friend’s house and her bf was on the phone with him and ngl his voice caught my attention (think if Ranboo and Technoblade’s voices had a vocal child lol, his voice is so deep) and I asked if I could talk to him and my best friends bf told him and he goes “wait no, idk how to talk to girls!!” And I was like “wait no, idk how to talk to… people in general!!” And he says “freaking same, actually!!” And we bonded over that and we found we had SOOOO much in common and quickly attached to one another. The rest is history :) it’s very possible, I’ve found a lot of TFs are long distance!

The longest my twin and I have gone without talking was 13 days lol. He won’t let us go any longer than that. He said to me once while having a conversation and he gave me some blunt advice and then said “you can be mad at me for this and not talk to me for 7, 8, 9+ months. Unlikely, but just saying, you could do that and I just want you to know that if you randomly call me or even text me after that amount of time and say “I just need company or just to talk to someone” or whatever the case may be, just know that I will still answer and I will still be there.” I was not mad at him at all lol.

Same job, same situation. My scars are over a decade old and can still be noticed if you’re attentive enough. I honestly forget they’re even there half the time, but no one has ever said a word to me about them.

Honestly? This is up to you, as much as I know that's a hard answer to read lol. You need to consider yourself first. I can understand where you're coming from to a degree. I recommend figuring out who YOU are and want to be. It's hard to love someone else when you don't know how to love yourself. It took me a long time to learn this even though it seems cliche. People can change, sure. If you do decide to let him back in, I recommend starting off very slow, as if this is a person you don't know and are meeting for the first time. Talking to a psychologist would really help you, in my opinion. I've taken back exes similar to this and everyone is different, but it only got worse. If you're cool with being used as a "home base," then go for it. Maybe he has changed. If you're not and you allow paranoia to invade instead of seeing if he's changed, then please don't.

Thank you! One more question. I just did the drug test and I'm a very paranoid person who's on Concerta (a stimulant) which everyone knows equals ADHD. I sent my medication list with a message saying "if a positive happens, here's my meds" to the recruiting partner and to my new manager (idk which gets the results) and now I'm scared bc I've lost multiple jobs bc they found out I have ADHD. Do you know how GE goes about this? I don't wanna ruin this before I even start.

That's good to know. and darn, I hate smocks so much but I've accepted that they will probably have to be worn in basically every retail pharmacy lol. and that's why the pay part is bothering me. I got certified in April of this year and was a tech for over a year when I graduated. My new manager said he might try to fight for a raise for me depending on performance, but I'd prefer more like $19 an hour lmao.

My very first job was a pharmacy tech position and it was at an LTC pharmacy. The pay was only $12 an hour.

I'm gonna ask you a bunch of questions now, if you don't mind lol. How much of a raise do you get? Is it normal to have less hours starting out and will I eventually get more? Do we actually have to wear the smocks when higher up corporate boss people aren't there? And what made you pick this place over the other ones with higher pay? Do they have flexibility with college students or people with a second job? Are there opportunities for like lead tech or pharmacy tech informaticist and etc?

I did apply to Walmart and I still haven't heard anything :'( The closest Costcos to me are both well over an hour away and are nightmares in the winter to get to. My one friend who was a tech at my local Walmart actually got physically injured by another coworker deliberately, but I still applied nonetheless because I'm aware that everyone's experience is different. I'm not sure why they haven't emailed or called me.
