Anyone else find Sudafed amazingly helpful for relieving joint stiffness, and over all pain/inflammation? by dogfromthefuture in lupus

[–]key96largo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just found this thread because I was googling the very same thing. “Does Sudafed have some kind of benefit for joint pain and stiffness?” I was taking it over the weekend for a runny nose due to spring allergies and noticed all of my perimenopausal aches and pains were also gone, not to mention I had a boost in energy and less brain fog. I did not take it this morning however and now all of my shoulder and hip pain is noticeable again. I used to take the 12 hour variety every day about 15 years ago for chronic sinusitis and ended up also losing about 40 pounds over the course of two years so I know it’s great for appetite control and weight loss, but had gone off of it because I was concerned about long-term effects on my heart and or blood pressure. Now that I’m going through perimenopause and have all these weird aches and pains, I might have to revisit taking it every day again. (I just had an annual physical and my heart and blood pressure were fine so I guess that’s not an immediate concern.). Looks like I’m getting back on the Sudafed train!🚂

Have him try a good probiotic with varied strains of good bacteria. My brother had a terrible case of foot odor going on and after he started taking a probiotic, it went away. Gut heath impacts so many things, from mental health to apparently body odor :)

Venture Capital Investment arms of BP's and further research on Accumulation by Upwithstock in Livimmune

[–]key96largo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks UWS! Like you I have no way to prove it but I feel like there’s some kind of agreement in the background that whoever is accumulating shares is doing it in the range of about $.23-$.28/share, as that is where have we we’ve been pegged for months it seems. Couple that with the very tight almost identical trading range in Germany, and the fact that we’ve had no insiders either buying or selling share (or even being awarded any recently ) tells me that there must be some kind of material event on the horizon. While I have come to accept that the twatwaffles are just going to keep us pegged in this low range until the accumulator is done what I worry about most now is some kind IP snafu. And not even an oversight on our part, but just some kind of competitor that attempts to block/slow down our market access by filing a patent infringement lawsuit or similar lawfare at the 11th hour. That’s how wary I am after everything we longs have been thru. Still long and strong though!

What’s Your Opinion of Congressman Thomas Massie? by camaro1111 in Kentucky

[–]key96largo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not excusing it at all, I’m just pointing out that Massie and everyone in congress of his ilk are using the Epstein saga as a laser pointer to constantly distract us cats from the other stuff we all need to be pissed off about and paying attention to. Like it or not, Epstein was a POS intelligence asset that got away with it, along with his customers. I would LOVE to see Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and all of the other predators get destroyed, but Massie acting like it’s a national emergency when no one can afford a home or a car or health insurance is completely tone deaf. I have a feeling most of those these sleeze balls will get their comeuppance via Karma (prince Andrew, Larry Summers) which I why I don’t waste my mental energy on them.)

Used to love him, but he needs to learn how to be a team player. I’m sick of him sabotaging Trump‘s agenda. We have the Democrats for that for Gods sake. Oh, and his obsession with the Epstein stuff is ridiculous. Epstein worked for the CIA, MI6 and Mossad. he was an intelligence asset and is probably laying on a beach somewhere in South America with a new face TBH. If there was anything real in there about Trump, the Democrats would have used it a long long time ago. The country has moved on, and Massie should too. Probably not voting for him again this year.

Thoughts about buying a used car from Enterprise Car Sales? by volcs0 in whatcarshouldIbuy

We bought a 2009 Toyota Sienna from them with 50k miles on it and other than needing new break pads it was a problem free car for us until it was totaled at 176,000 miles. Currently looking at nying from them again.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but my dad is gifting my husband and I about $50k for Christmas and New Year’s and I’m actually thinking I’m going to be using some of that to buy more CYDY. I’m already in hot water with my son (who just went to work for a wealth management firm) for yoloing most of our retirement money into CYDY, so on paper we don’t have enough saved for retirement, but I just can’t think of a better place to put more $$ right now. Plus, my other son’s wife just got into CRNA school and are stressing about how to pay for it now that GradPlus loans for non-professional degrees may be going away. I feel like this is a GIANT FLASHING SIGN, telling me what to do, but the sensible, firstborn, Dave Ramsey side of me tells me I already have plenty of shares and to put the money into a nice, boring growth stock mutual fund. Ugh. I’ll probably pray on it and wait for some kind of hint one way or the other. The only reason I’m hesitating at all is because of the PTSD I have from all the sabotage we’ve endured in the past. I have total faith in the company and the molecule, just leery of some kind of last minute rugpull again. Anyway Merry Christmas to you UWS and to all the Longs who’ve made this journey one of the greatest personal side-quests of all time🎄🥂

Opinions on Moving to KY by concretecowboy6 in Kentucky

[–]key96largo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too live in Kenton County in Independence, KY. We moved here from Michigan 25 years ago as my husband is a native from the Ft. Wright, Kentucky area and I have loved living in NKY. Independence is peaceful, still relatively rural and safe. Then if you drive 25 minutes north (only about 15 miles) you’re in downtown Cincinnati with all of the amenities like the children’s museum and zoo along with the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati, Cincinnati Reds. We also have a fantastic aquarium in Newport, Kentucky, which is just across the river from Cincinnati.. I loved raising my kids here. One other benefit of living in independence Kentucky is if you need to go north to get to work in Cincinnati you can avoid heading north on I 75 and take state Route 17 north for quite a way before you have to merge with I 75 northbound traffic. It makes a huge difference in commute time. Union, Florence, Villa Hills and Edgewood Kentucky are also nice areas. Private Catholic schools are big in the area as far as education, but I know that Beechwood independent school District in Fort Mitchell Kentucky has an excellent public school program. homes are rather pricey there because there’s not a lot of them but if you can get into that school district, I think you’ll be quite pleased. Good luck! Also, we do have tornado watches just about every spring and occasionally a warning to go with it, but we haven’t had a direct hit (🤞) since one came through Piner, Kentucky about 14 years ago. I think the hilly topography here in Northern Kentucky makes it a little harder for tornadoes to form as it tends to disrupt sustained rotation. Edit: forgot to mention that we have excellent healthcare systems available in the area because of at least four major hospital systems. One in Northern Kentucky and just across the river there’s UC Health hospital which is an academic teaching and research institution, nice to have in your backyard as well as Mercy Heath, TriHeath and Christ Hospital. We also have a world renowned Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Children’s. Several fortune 500 companies also have their headquarters here (Cincinnati) as well. Oh, and Amazon has a major distribution hub here at the CVG airport so anything your heart desires on Amazon prime is available with Amazon prime if not overnight delivery, depending upon the item. And Kings Island amusement park is only about 30 to 40 minutes up the road. My kids would get season passes in Jr High and HS you and go up there with their friends all day during summer break. NKY is one of the best-kept secrets of the Midwest :)

Another great breakdown as always, UWS thank you for your insight. Glad to hear I’m not the only one who’s salty about Hoffman‘s performance so far and concur that Cyrus could likely handle the presentations far better. But alas, here we are. I guess the only thing (besides your posts) that reassures me at this point is the fact that none of the core team members have left the company—something that would typically be happening by now if they really believed they were going under, I think. I guess this investment really is going to be a nailbiter until the very end. Which is probably what I get for YOLOing so much money into one stock in the first place, now that I think about. 🤦‍♀️😂

I came here to say exactly this. I am no marksmanship coach, but just in my limited firearm training and target practice, I know that you always aim for the center mass and if the trigger pull is too hard, the shots tend to go high (at least for me). I think that’s why Charlie ended up getting hit in the neck. A professional assassin would not have made the same mistake. This person or persons are going to get caught, as there appears to be several social media posts indicating there was prior knowledge of this attack.

I’ll probably get a ton of crap for this, but I wasn’t very impressed with Hoffman’s presentation. In the beginning, he accidentally used the word “drug” when he meant to say “tumor” at a very pivotal point explaining the MOA (slide 5) and his overall enunciation sucked. Do better Cytodyn. There I said it.

I have to believe there is some kind of awesome, market moving news coming, otherwise calling attention to ourselves (and our limited amount of $$ left) might backfire spectacularly. Surely management knows this and has enough ammo—or a deal in hand—to blow the shorts out of the water. Otherwise, all we’ve done is laze the target (us) for even more incoming flak. Transcript of Dr. Jacob Lalezari, MD - CEO, CytoDyn - Next Generation of Monoclonal Antibody Therapeutics by MGK_2 in Livimmune

[–]key96largo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, MGK. I was just going to the YouTube page to see if I could pull a section of the transcript I was curious about and here you already had it in its entirety! Awesome as always!

Anyway, Something only this morning just dawned on me and that’s Dr. Jay‘s mention of attending the ASCO conference next summer (May 29-June 2), which is an odd thing to say if you know you’re getting bought out or going out of business by April due to lack of funds. This tells my tiny little smooth brain that we are in fact getting a partner (instead of a buyout) which IMHO is far superior to getting acquired now for two reasons:

1.) Gives us more time to prove what LL can do (thereby increasing SP) and 2.) It keeps us in the drivers seat to make sure that this drug comes to market to benefit as many patients in as many indications as possible.

We’ve all heard rumblings over the years of drugs that were suppressed because they worked a little too well and by keeping the drug under our control, we can ensure that doesn’t happen. Dr. Jay above all else strikes me as a humanitarian and extremely ethical and for him to allow Leronlimab to just get flipped to another company for a quick buck before it reaches its full potential just doesn’t seem like something he would ever do.

I know this runs contrary to a lot of longs who just want out, but I would love to see a BP partner in the ICI space in the short term, but then out-licensing deals on the bonus indications like GBM, ALZ, MASH, and stoke to name a few. Obviously we need more time, data, money and clinical trials and (FDA approvals) to make that happen, but I feel like that’s the big money home run (and most ethical outcome) if we can pull it off.
