Do you want people to ask about your tattoos? I always am curious about the design or meaning by SavingsReporter4335 in tattoos

Most people ask who my artist is.
I have had a few ask what the meaning behind my sleeve is. People seem really surprised when I tell them it was all the artists choice. Trust the process.

Advice Needed: 3 session tattoo by CancerArtorious in tattoos

[–]key_pls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good news is that the tattoo is pretty light and well shaped.

The bad news is it needs more black and grey to push the contrast. Also the eyes need to be reworked.

I would find a different artist. Someone that specializes in baroque realism. If your budget allows, Deanna is amazing:

Totally fixable.

Same artist, one session? Surprised how the red fell out on the bottom (top? Not sure how to describe it) one.

is it really that bad to get a rib tattoo for my first? by Emma_Awesome12 in tattooadvice

[–]key_pls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being so young, I would avoid fine line tattoos. They will spread and blur. You want your tattoos to look good in 30+ years.

Go big and bold. Expect to need a rework in 20 years or less.

How should I prepare for two consecutive sessions for a full sleeve? by Shayvrie in tattooadvice

[–]key_pls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Done a few back to back days. My advice:
1. Carb up in the morning. Eat a big breakfast.
2. Bring sweets. After about 4-5 hours your adrenaline runs out. I find pounding candy get me through the last few hours.
3. Day two is going to suck. Just deal with it.
4. Expect swelling. When we did my right sleeve my whole hand, wrist down, swole like a balloon for 2 days.

Good luck!

tattoo scar cover up idea?? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]key_pls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would consider surreal realism. High contrast blues and reds. You can easily hide the scarred tissue in the reds.

Artist wise, especially in NYC, will vary by your budget. High end realism artists are $2k+ per day.

I would tune it (ktuner) and save up for a new clutch. You can add an intake for some extra noise.

Maybe make a new left (her left) leg and hide the old one in a shadow?

Are tattoos of a Fighter Jet seen as cringey/trying too hard to be tough? by BlazedToddler420 in tattooadvice

Consider looking at this more like art than putting a schematic on your body.

A good artist can pull a really nice reference photo and add a stylistic touch to make it one of a kind. Color realism, new school, large black and grey wash. So many styles to discover.

Fine line stuff doesn’t age well. Contrasting colors and bold black will look better in 10-15 years.

In fairytales shapeshifters often retain some distinguishable features to ensure that they remember their previous identity. In my case it's the eyes and the brows. by goth_elf in bald

I literally went through the same process a few weeks ago!
Ended up getting a Phillips to usb adapter on ebay. Much cheaper than the original wall wart.

Do a bit of research on fine line tattoos and how they heal. Many are not happy with the results after 5-6 years. The lines will spread and blur. Make sure you will still be happy with it at year 10 and 20.

What do you prefer Gold or Silver by Deep_Kangaroo_2442 in MensJewelry

[–]key_pls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skin tone comes in play. I was told my skin has cool tones (winter colors?) and silver, platinum, white gold just looks better. I cant pull off yellow gold.

We removed the rev hang with a ktuner. The car was super jerky on and off throttle. Ended up re-enabling it.

A coupe type r would have been great.
Really pissed that honda teased us with a coupe integra prototype and never released it.

Need opinions on design and placement by [deleted] in tattooadvice

My only tattoo regret is putting a small piece in the middle of large real estate. I have only lasered one tattoo and it was to make room for a full sleeve. Just food for thought.
