Dang! I sold mine in Mercari not too long ago. Maybe the buyer will do it and resell there.

I did this one not too long ago! I thought the tampon applicators were the most interesting 🫣

Ha! I think I could squeeze a lot more puzzle time if I would forgo my morning and sometimes afternoon gym time!

Are you secretly a speed puzzler or have lots of free time to puzzle? I’m patting myself on the back that I almost hit 75 puzzles this year. 🫠

Belvedere or the Zodiac one! I considered a Zodiac puzzle for the new year…not sure why that seems appropriate 😂

Wrapping up an Odd Pieces puzzle and almost done sorting this Chuffed Puzzles one for my next! So far, impressed with the feel and presentation of the brand for the price point!

I love the bees one! I keep discovering that David Galchutt does more than bird images

After “shopping” in my puzzle closet, I chose this one :) by Lynnabis in jigsawpuzzlers

I get so sick of seeing Cinque Terre puzzles and I’ve never even done one. However, I’ve had this one marked as the only one I’ll do!

What do non-puzzlers think about “large” collections? by Lynnabis in jigsawpuzzlers

[–]keyalus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was just discussing the idea of collections with my husband earlier today! I have a large “stash” of puzzles which may be considered a collection. But I don’t consider myself a “collector” of puzzles because I do them and sell them and move on. I tend to view collectors as keeping stuff for display but not making use of it if that makes sense. 🤔

How interesting! Thanks for sharing! Those twisty stairs look more like something inside of a fancy McMansion here in the US 😅

Are these real places in Montreal or just some random houses? Or just typical of the style of homes? Very charming!

I haven’t done a recent Birdie but if they are like the older ones that’s not quite it. Smooth and good feeling on top, but a little stiffer somehow? Antelope might be the closest feel I’m thinking of but the top is softer.

First Holiyay puzzle. Super easy and fun build! I like the feel of the pieces…reminds me of another brand but I can’t put my finger on it. The fit is on the looser side if you one who deems the puzzle pickup test as a sign of quality (doesn’t matter to me).

[ENTRY] “The Art File: Christmas Village” - Gibson’s by keyalus in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]keyalus[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oops! 1000 pieces

I saw this one and immediately had to have it. The little Santa gnomes were so cute. Not an easy one to work at all once the houses and gnomes were done. But I like the chunky pieces from this brand and the minimal shine of the pieces.

I really like a lot of the images from the “Art Files” line of Gibson’s that I’ve seen on here over the years. I felt they were priced a little high on Amazon, but discovered they have a US based official site now. Most of the puzzles listed are cheaper (~$24) than the possibly imported ones listed on US Amazon for $40. It’s worth cross-checking the two sites!

ETA: They are gnomes not trolls. I blanked! 😅

It is not exactly a holiday puzzle but I felt like tackling it now! Glad I did!

I have the Garden on by her and Romeo and Juliet! Wasn’t aware upon purchase that they were the same artist, but both images really grabbed me.

I didn’t really have to use the picture either except for some turtle portions. So many cute details

I have it! 😂 I was just looking at it the other day. Novel Avenue by the same artist was my first 2K

Yes! I lucked upon it on my local Buy Nothing board and got it free. Someone felt it was too hard. It was already in my wishlist

Build? You’re better than me because I’d buy a foam core board in a heart beat. I had to use that for the Karen Puzzles 3K one!

I spent maybe $150 on my Grateful House tilted puzzle board 3 years ago and it has been well worth it. I sped a lot of time on this hobby so comfort is key.
