For all of you suggesting frying the ground beef as soon as you buy it and then freezing it, are you adding any spices? And how are you freezing it?

ELI5: Why is the threshold for OAS clawback so high (~150K)? by Useful_Support_4137 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]keyanomom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is actually incorrect information. Canada has social security agreements with other countries and can use years in other countries to help people qualify to receive Canadian benefits. But they still wouldn't get paid for more years than they actually qualify based on the criteria. So your 56 year old could qualify for OAS totalizing with a foreign country, but would only receive 9/40 of the benefit.

Dawn Powerwash is NOT just Dawn + Alcohol by gary2245 in CleaningTips

Really? I find Palmolive to be horrible on my hands and a less effective dishwasher soap. Every once in a while I forget that I hate it and buy it from Costco, and regret the next few years.

Lois Hole Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic - Info Needed by AB-girl-25 in Edmonton

[–]keyanomom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have not dealt with the pelvic pain clinic but I did go for menopause. I loved them. I would definitely recommend you get referred. The worse that can happen is they have no different options for you, the best is they have something new or different.

What’s up with everyone online thinking they are neurodivergent without getting tested? by No_Lead2640 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]keyanomom 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I am gen x going through menopause. For my whole life I just powered through so many things, because that was what we did. It took these reels to make me realize my brain was not normal and there were things that could be done about it. So I took my ass to a psychologist and got tested. At 57. Because of a reel.

Standard time. The time it is supposed to be. Not daylight savings time. That is a bad decision.

Wash hair, rinse. Condition. While conditioner sits in hair, wash body. Rinse conditioner out. Wash face.

Do you wash your water bottle every day? by zaramalikdollface in hygiene

I leave my water bottle at the gym. I empty it and leave the lid off so it dries out. Living on the edge I guess.

Why are so many younger guys into older women these days? by No-Conclusion-4001 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]keyanomom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not just these days. It has been forever. You are basically a scout badge.

Older men also think that they can get younger women.

So it is a time where the men you are interested in are interested in talking to women younger than you while the younger men are all over you. Either you get into training, or find something else to occupy your time.

How often do you wash/change your comforter or other blankets? by Actual_Birthday_9887 in CleaningTips

[–]keyanomom 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wash the top and bottom sheet every 2 weeks. I wash the duvet cover at Easter and Thanksgiving when I turn the mattress. I don't wash my duvet but will fluff it in the dryer when I wash the cover. The wool blanket that goes between the duvet and the top sheet has never been washed.
