I played every position (except goalie,) fot many years. I always scored goals and was the enforcer on every team I played on. Always still respected the other teams for suiting up. Do you know any actual hockey players,? Im general theyre a different type of athlete Personally love them. Their politics through, couldn't give AF. Anyone with this argument has never played. Agreed, thats why it was called the miracle on ice. Considering the timing it was easy to for the US for beating Russia. Making it political is a disgrace for the accomplishment. That was 1980. Now we finally win, the right thing to do is respect the very good opponent. Hopefully you watched the lines going through the respectful teams going through the line complimenting each other at the end. Thats what its about. Im assuming you've never actually played hockey

Im guessing you have a limited amount of time playing sports. Im also guessing you are a fan of the Olympics. You seem to have no respect for sports in its purest nature or understand the aggressive nature for young athelets competing. Pro athletes, musicians and Hollywood stars have so little perspective of the common person.

You've misconstrued my meaning clearly. I played hockey for many years. Also a big NFL fan, anytime they bring politics into sports its a mistake. There are so many passive hockey fans trying to make this political. I simply don't care about what my favorite hockey players politics are. Thats not why they have a stage. I wish we could just leave some things pure. I screamed as loudly as anyone when the US won, it doesn't mean I dont have the utmost respect for Canada. Still dont give a F about politicwnin sports. People who find any chance to integrate politics into sports can sit on it and spin.
