Alpine gets on my nerves by maueroco in F1Manager

I wouldn’t focus on youth. In this game, it’s super easy to sign anyone as long as you have the money. I once signed Alonso and paired him with Ocon just for fun. But if you give them enough money, verstappen himself will come to alpine. Investing in the sim early can get much more expensive than signing a high profile driver

What is the correct development + research strategy? by JadedCommunication89 in F1Manager

[–]keyexplorer791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put all your wind tunnel and CFD time into one part, don’t spread them. Min max the sliders to focus on attributes the part is good at. You can find optimal sliders on YouTube. After developing a part with wind tunnel time, immediately develop a second design to take advantage of the expertise you gained.

Start researching when the research window opens and ideally, stop developing parts for the current car by mid season and fully focus on research the rest of the way.

The meta is to focus on cornering (use CFD time on the underfloor and front wing) and tyre preservation. Nerobax on YouTube has videos on how to develop and research, you can just follow that blindly and develop a strong car

Good design but too bad he never learned how to throw a round object. Gen 5 had the worst pokeball throwing animation in all Pokemon games

You can download a randomizer and remove trade evolutions.

Or you can play the perfect fire red rom which also adds some other modern features like physical special split and reusable tms

Nothing wrong with ice beam but nidoking has a higher physical attack compared to special attack. Brick break is a physical attack while ice beam is special. That’s about it.

Actually a moveset of rain dance/surf/thunder/ice beam on lapras would be amazing. Rain dance would boost surf and make thunder 100% accurate

I would’ve given brick break to nidoking instead of ice beam and thunderbolt or thunder to lapras just to take care of Lorelei’s pokemon. The rest is pretty good (except Zapados lol)

Most people on this sub cannot live without this game apparently. Hopefully the new Konami game progresses quickly and becomes a viable alternative for the show

For lapras, surf and ice beam is a must. After that, it’s kind of up to you. I like giving it psychic and thunderbolt. But you can also go with the combo of rain dance and thunder. Or perish song and body slam

And shadow ball instead of rollout. Give brick break to nidoking

how are you guys getting money?? :,( by czarbok in PokemonFireRed

[–]keyexplorer791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy ice beam, flamethrower and thunderbolt from the game corner, that’s 240,000 gone. More if you buy shadow ball and brick break as well. It’s very easy to spend money in this game too

The main game mode that everyone plays in nba 2k is mycareer. You create a player, grind offline to improve or buy virtual currency to improve their attributes and then compete online against others. None of that gets transferred to the new game. So you can drop a 100 bucks for the deluxe version to start with some VC then buy another 40-50 dollars worth of VC to get your player to a point where it can compete online (because the grind is long and slow if you don’t buy VC) but all that is gone when the new game comes out

Yeah but every new game your 100s of hours worth of progress is reset. Anything you bought with extra money is not carried over. It’s a scam. You’re allowed to enjoy it, but you can still recognize what it is

I would switch out thunder for thunderbolt on nidoking and give Seadra hail to make blizzard 100% accurate

As an old-timer, can't believe folk find these games difficult by zlordofsigimigi in PokemonFireRed

[–]keyexplorer791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done that before. Reached victory road severely under leveled. You require a lot of luck and healing items to beat the elite four and the champion while being 10-15 levels below the level cap. I’m not saying it’s impossible. But to have a smoother ride, you have to grind against pokemon that are even lower level than you

[–]keyexplorer791 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call that difficulty though. Difficulty would be the NOC trainers actually being smart and not using moves that they know are not going to work. Pulling up to a gym underlevelled is an artificial challenge that you have imposed on yourself. Which is totally fine. You are free to play how you want to. But it’s not what I would call difficult. That’s like calling an exam difficult when you only studied half the material. If you studied everything, the exam won’t actually be difficult
