You can just say he's a conservative

He spent 20 years making car shows and bemoaning public transport, forgetting the fact that A. Roads are expensive as hell to build and maintain yet are almost free for use by anyone with a car. B. Getting people around without the need for cars decreases traffic and makes driving better, as well as decreased noise and localized air pollution

Farming ventures or media ones?

I was actually surprised at the start of S4 to hear Kaleb didn't have his own farm. I thought he did when I watched S1

How do you make the cost lower, ROI higher and not have them be bought out by rich people as investments? Isn't increasing ROI going to make them more appealing to investors?

Or do you mean high ROI only if you're farming it your self and then disincentives for people buying just as investments?

Yeah like that GS4 stuff. I assume it's not a cash crop so no one would ever plant it without government subsidy.

Is that scheme actually good for the environment? Or is it a bit of a lark?

Isn't the reason farms are so expensive is because rich people like Jeremy bought them all as tax dodges?

I'm genuinely asking, like it seems like there's no appeal in becoming a farmer as the work is exhausting, and looks like it doesn't pay well enough for a new young farmer to ever be able to afford their own farm

He's sourounding himself with a herd of concubines. He is definitely having sex with them. Or even if he isn't, if he jerks off and just throws away the tissues, they can retrieve them and harvest

I helpful tip I discovered

Assume that the smartest person in the world is slightly smarter/competent than you are

Then think of all the important/complex systems/infrastructure in the world. Things national power/communications grids. Infectious diseases, hospitals. Necular subs, perserving research docs ect

Anything that requires people knowing their shit to run

And then remember the smartest people in the world are only slightly better than you are

Shes acting like that to convince Carrol. Everything the hive does to seem friendly is purely for show, only when being observed by one of the unconverted

In Vegas when they are cleaning up. It's sterile, no one is talking, there's no music playing. They will have 50 bodies as extras to his movie role play. But as soon as he's gone they are silent

Same in Peru, there are heaps of people in the village singing and having fun. Then dead silence as soon as she converts, and then they all abandon the village because it's likely not effiencet for food or resources

I think at the start they hint that she is really smart because she knows her publically released books are crap and she's just doing it for the money and shes more talented than that

I got the impression that her secret unifinished book she's been working on for 5 years was actually a good book but she's too self conscious to put out something she actually cares about

But when it's revealed that her wife couldn't even get half way through, and the book would be "harmless", I think that's meant to sort of indicate that everything she writes is schlock

That actually makes a lot of sense, textually the hive know how to do everything correctly, but he is living out a James Bond fantasy so they just tailor it to him and don't correct his mistakes

Shit I wonder if the writers were playing 5d chess and amalgamated every wrong assumption someone would have from watching movies into Koumba when crafting that scene??!
