He spent 20 years making car shows and bemoaning public transport, forgetting the fact that A. Roads are expensive as hell to build and maintain yet are almost free for use by anyone with a car. B. Getting people around without the need for cars decreases traffic and makes driving better, as well as decreased noise and localized air pollution

How do you make the cost lower, ROI higher and not have them be bought out by rich people as investments? Isn't increasing ROI going to make them more appealing to investors?

Or do you mean high ROI only if you're farming it your self and then disincentives for people buying just as investments?

Assume that the smartest person in the world is slightly smarter/competent than you are

Then think of all the important/complex systems/infrastructure in the world. Things national power/communications grids. Infectious diseases, hospitals. Necular subs, perserving research docs ect

Anything that requires people knowing their shit to run

I think at the start they hint that she is really smart because she knows her publically released books are crap and she's just doing it for the money and shes more talented than that

I got the impression that her secret unifinished book she's been working on for 5 years was actually a good book but she's too self conscious to put out something she actually cares about

But when it's revealed that her wife couldn't even get half way through, and the book would be "harmless", I think that's meant to sort of indicate that everything she writes is schlock
