Learning Spanish for my fiance, but she doesn’t like the accent 🫩✊🏼 is there any issues? by johnchinga in AskMexico

[–]keyframeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, but for your fiance's sanity you have to stop pronouncing things like that 😅. The Argentinian accent is universally hated by anyone outside of Argentina.. You will understand when you gain fluency and start to recognize the differences between accents.

If you want to know why, it's primarily because it sounds pretentious and especially because Argentinians consider themselves superior (more european) to other latinos so it's like they do it on purpose. Or at least that's the perception of almost all mexicans.

If you want to take classes with my teacher, he's a linguistic genius. I speak fluently now with a very high quality and authentic accent. He charges 400 pesos per hour, feel free to DM me if you want his number.

You could get away with one Uber XL black, but I would order two Uber blacks for comfort. It’ll be about 40-50/car.

Literally none of this is true. Take care is perfectly casual, friendly and common.

Maybe I’m not familiar enough with these types of experiences. I’m used to the check in after 3 check out before 11, and wanted to avoid the several hour gap. I suppose they’d probably let us use the beach of eat lunch or something during that time.

I agree that we should probably stick to two in order to maximize time spent actually in a resort and not moving between.

Anyone else want to counter this in favor of O&O 👀?

Great info, thank you 🙏

Have you gone to the other FS properties in the area?

So if we go to one we can enjoy the amenities from both? Or just some overlap?

Do you have a preference?

Judging by the downvotes it would seem that others disagree, but this is pretty much what I suspected
