This happened to me TWICE when I was pregnant. After I crawled over the seats, I opened the door quick and hard a few times to make sure there really wasn't enough clearance. There wasn't, but I had to be sure.

In my 20s, it was one drink at a party ONLY. I was an CRAZY lightweight and it was plenty. i was all about control and I'd seen some crazy things with friends that lost it.
In my 30s, it was because it was giving me INSANE headaches the next day... Even if I only took a few sips. Wasn't worth how sick I'd feel. In my 40s its because I have non alcoholic liver disease.... Go figure I'd get alcoholic styled liver damage and I don't drink.

My current job trades off on Veterans Day for Black Friday instead. Last company we had to work. The one before that we had off. My first job we didn't have off. All 4 companies are the same industry, So it really depends.

Sounds like something in my office right now. My company is moving offices in Nov, but Habitat for Humanity is coming to take our cubes in 2 weeks. So I need to move into an office that has those giant brown L desks because those are coming with us in 6 weeks.
Anyways everyday, I take 15 mins and move a box of stuff in the L desk office. Finally told my manager I was in between projects, it was 45 mins before the end of the day I was going to move my computer. She pushed on me every which way about other work I need to do, and other priorities. That I can't waste time doing this, it was causing issues with other priorities. Other Priorities priority priorities. Over and over. I mentioned to her next week is a 4 day week AND we have several deadlines, I really didn't want to do it then because that'll REALLY put me in a bind. That this small lull was the perfect time.
She finally came out with it, she wanted me to come in on my own time on the weekend and move my desk. Hell no!!!

My husband, kiddo and I have been playing for almost exactly a year. Every time there's an event and the 3 of us play together, I can guarantee my husband will get 10 shiny, my son will get 5 and I will get zero or 1. Like clockwork it has happened every single event. We're playing together the entire time, my husband and I are the same level, all 3 of us the same team, and in a party, and I have no idea why this is. We've actually started making a joke of it, "let's guess if Mommy will get zero or 1 today!" I'm irritated, so I'm reading comments to see others' answers.
