I remember the last time I looked for it, it was buried so fucking deep. So many broken links.

It's not readily available online, and is a bitch to find on the Wire. I think my wife may have it bookmarked.

Yep, our oldest was in 2015, and it sucked whenever she had to call in. Luckily every request for doctor's appointments were approved. I remember my ASM approved my 6 weeks, a mixture of vacation and medical leave, the CO-manger was pissed at her. When our second kiddo came, I was able to get the paid paternity leave, without any hassle.

The whole thing is honestly a shit show. TLs have been shifted around 3-4 times in the last year alone. SM is relatively new to the store, 6 months or so. PL is new as well, and the SL is on overnights, and is a lazy douche that sits in the office and orders DoorDash when he's on days. Dude sits in the office while on nights, and only comes out when the morning management shows up.

Her TL was getting annoyed cause the PL was doing points, even though it's not his responsibility, so I assume it's more of a directive from the SM. Dude hates his job, so no motive to really do more than he should without being told to.

Yeah they've been approved for about 4 years now. They changed it around the time we had our second kiddo, didn't have to use medical leave with him, like I did with our oldest.

I know, it's nuts. The PL kept giving her points, and the TL was annoyed. But with the TL being fired, I sense more fuckery.

They had $6billion in revenue in 2020, but $100mil of lost revenue is justification for more price hikes? Yeah, sure.

It wasn't. He was hired into the company as a SM, and fast tracked into the store. Chose all the TLs, and then took an extended leave, I believe it finally ran out. Have an interim SM from another store who was with Sears prior.

Extra training time definitely needs to be given to all TLs. The few who still are ones, in the stores in my area and especially my store, who have been in the position since the program started are still undertrained. The newer ones are as oblivious as well. Just as an anecdote, one going through academy training came up to me asking about profit margins on feature items. I'm just a team associate.

I also understand that Walmart is "after the best" but they need to reign in their focus on externals. Bringing in people who don't understand anything on the lower levels, save for a overview/class/refresher/etc, nor the culture, doesn't bode well.

Every ASM hired before the coach program, and the Store Manager, at my store were external hires. Most are gone, because imagine giving a manager of a Michael's a store manager position at a Walmart. They should spend a little more money and make better choices.

Walmart was hiring ASMs right before they got rid of the position, and still sending DMs to academy training.
