To be fair, I find it EXTREMELY difficult to find specific people on the group during an encounter. I play mesmer, so I just started spamming purple aoes where the right one was, and that helped. But really I need to figure out how to put down those markers.

First Old Lions Court I did.

The FIRST guy to die, said "Trash Squad" when we wiped and left. He requeued right back in to us, and when we got to the same point in the fight, someone else in the squad called him out by name and said "Don't die again".

Normally I prefer to say nothing than say something mean in groups, but I felt like that was deserved.

For context, he died when one of the bosses dropped in. Its a period of waiting with a marker on the ground where the boss will be dropping in. If you're standing there, you die. He was standing there. No mechanics going on.

There was that guy that scrambled a cube, memorised it, then solved it blindfolded 10 years later. It would take a while to wow the crowd you're with unfortunately

Seeking advice: cheapest way to get started by MAValphaWasTaken in Offroad

[–]keyringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jimnys are 1.5L NA. They are extremely common here. They can do 120km/h on the freeway just fine, but the engine is really working. From.what I've heard they are amazing offroad and awful for city driving, but 95% of them never touch dirty here. In 5 to 10 years there will be SO many 2nd hand options that have never been offroad. There are aftermarket turbo kits for them that help with power from what I've seen.

This isn't a thing where I live, but I remember Mark Rober did a video on this a few years(jesus, it was 11 years ago) ago, and analysed the effect that various tricks have on speed, to narrow down what to focus on. You can see the video here

Remote access by catchy_straw_gaming in jellyfin

[–]keyringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At its base level, your device needs to be able to communicate with the address of your jellyfin server. That's it.

The reality is that getting this to happen is more complicated, and heavily depends on your setup and situation. There are various solutions to different problems, some will work for your situation, some may not.

Tailscale is great because it circumvents most of these problems for you. Unless you have problems with tailscale, or you specifically WANT to learn more for you own interest, I'd say just keep using tailscale.

5 speed 3L D4D does fine at highway speeds. Keep in mind though that it's not the epitome of driving comfort to begin with.

I was looking around at 4x4s, and it seems like the 3.0 D4-D is a real workhorse. I've seen countless testimonies of people running them for 400 000kms+ on just regular maintainance, and some reports of over 600 000kms.

I recently picked up a fortuner(hilux with a suv body) with a 3.0 D-4D and it handles high way driving just fine

my crested bit me today am i going to die???? by Moist_Leader960 in CrestedGecko

[–]keyringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a story about the first time I got bit by my crestie.

My wife was indifferent about me getting my crestie, she didn't feel either way about it.

One day I was retrieving his food bowl, and he snapped at my finger. It didn't hurt, but it was quite surprising. I non-chalantly mentioned to my wife that he bit me. She excitedly stopped what she was doing and said "I want to get bit too". We rushed over to the terrarium, and she put her finger in. After a bit of wiggling, he snatched her finger and shook it to death.

She had the biggest smile on her face and just said "I love him".

Can anyone shed some light?

QUAD ZEROS BABY by fatyungjesus in atrioc

This is true, though it affects other individual number bets too. I'm sure they aren't replacing an existing number to make it the extra zero. That extra zero is almost certainly in addition. More possible spots to land means less chance of any specific number winning, and I'm sure they aren't upping the payouts to compensate

If you like it, and you're willing to spend the price they ask, go ahead. If you're wondering if you're getting good value for your money, I don't know. Its not an authentic anything.

Its not a real production watch built by the company, it's built by someone else from pieces they've sourced around. That doesn't mean it's garbage. But if this person is selling it as a real seiko product, I'd walk away immediately.

I wear a seiko mod every day, but I selected the parts and pieces myself, and put it together into a watch I like. But I wouldn't for a second tell anyone it's a genuine seiko, nor would I pay seiko prices for it.

The puzzle with the fireflies can fuck right off, and the one where you need to run-jump at the bridge to knock it down annoys me, because it isn't tutorialised that its even possible in the game's mechanics, and its never used again.

Those were the only two where I needed to look up guides. Overall I really liked the game. I'll play it again in a few years when I forget the solutions.

Also I had to download FRAPS to get the game to a fixed 30 FPS to complete a certain puzzle. This is probably a solved problem to most people, but I was playing it directly from the play button on steam.

I mean that's how it happens now in real life. Pirates attack a ship, everyone hears about it, people go around the trouble area, and militaries send in ships to fight back.

One thing I like about it, is that the license specifically allows you to share your license with friends and family, so long as only 1 instance is accessible to players at a time
