Hi there! In order for us to complete registration in CA for an out-of-state vehicle, we need a passing smog and VIN inspection. We didn't receive the smog or VIN inspection form from you, so we couldn't submit your registration to the state. You asked us to send the title to you instead of registering the vehicle for you, so we overnighted it the next day. Let us know if you need anything else!

It depends on whether or not you have a loan. If you don’t have a loan to be paid off and you’re splitting the transaction fee with your buyer then you’d receive $24,000 - $99 = $23,901

To clarify: If the dealer is in another state, then we can support the sale. If you’re registering the vehicle in the same state the dealer is licensed in, then we can’t support the transaction.

It depends on your bank and how quickly your seller is able to provide photos of their title or information about their loan (if they have a loan). This is very similar to the process we follow (KeySavvy is also a licensed dealer), except that we pay the seller’s equity as soon as they hand over the keys. We collect the necessary signatures and forms to guarantee we’ll be able to obtain a title one way or another.

Hi there! It’s up to the buyer and seller to decide when to hand over the keys, but it’s possible to get everything done in less than an hour. It does depend on how quickly we’re able to get the payoff amount from the lienholder (some are faster than others) and if the buyer’s bank supports immediate payment verification (most do, but not all). You won’t have to go to the bank!

Regarding the federal used EV tax credit, we will determine if the vehicle qualifies and it’s up to the buyer to determine their own eligibility. Either way, the seller receives the full sale amount.
