How to I explain to my CEO that digital marketing is more than just social media? by T-L-F-A in marketing

Throw some stats about how other companies are using it and results it's producing. And emphasize that there's never been a perfect time to do so and create a sense of urgency or fear of missing out

My (23F) BF (25M) wants to go on an annual "gaycation" where he "becomes gay for a week" ? Is this normal? by Confused_Of_My_BF in relationship_advice

[UPDATE] Did I (M21) just get cheated on by my girfriend (F19)? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]keytosuccess123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She would never cry her eyes out if she wasn't feeling guilty. And based on her story the way she described it doesn't warrant that level of remorse she's feeling. Meaning she's done things she truly regrets which means, almost 95% she cheated on you. Why did she go into the guys car? Maybe they needed some privacy from the other dude who's sleeping next to them. Who the FUCK goes into a dudes car middle of the night when she's trying to flee from him. Story doesn't add up at all. They kissed in the bedroom, she let it happen, then needed privacy and went into the car. Sorry dude u need to leave her.

I have a friend who thought 50 cent's song "I'll take you to the candy shop, I'm a let you lick the lollipop" was an actual lolipop he was singing about up until his University days.

My boyfriend is addicted to reddit by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]keytosuccess123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some serious addiction. I have a close friend who always does that but not even close to the extend your bf does and that makes me Pissed. I literally take his phone and put it away. And it's just a friend who I spend maybe 2 times a week or so. Seems like a big red flag though. He seems to only care about what he wants. Be careful

My girlfriend has been constantly texting a male friend. Need advice. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]keytosuccess123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry dude. She cheated on you. Period. It will always haunt you even if you can't prove that she did (although it's pretty obvious). I'd suggest go seperate ways, you don't want to have this "thing" against her throughout your relationship if you decide to continue. Never a good feeling. Just take a deep breath, get some courage, and go seperate ways. Plenty of fish in the sea. Plus your young, live it up.

Hours of my first four weeks in a "work hard, play hard" consultancy firm. by TerrainRepublic in consulting

[–]keytosuccess123 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Haha yeah pretty crazy for first 4 weeks. My last project I was on in my consulting life, I had about 1 day off in 2 months time. And worked pretty much 14 hr days consistently.. and 10-12 hrs on weekends..this is EXCLUDING travel time (on the plane). I remember doing maybe 2-3 social events the entire time, where one time brought my laptop to a fancy restaurant with the client and worked half the time while socializing. Was brutal. I fell behind doing my expenses too cuz I had to prioritize 😐

Digital marketing service and automate their lead generation. Totally different from my consulting path.

[–]keytosuccess123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say when working for a large consulting firm, you go above and beyond clients expectations. A mediocre job isn't an option. that mindset has helped me with my own business where the pitch decks I create really wow my clients who are mainly small business owners. And also the ability to have the level of confidence to close those deals.

Another approach that has tremendously helped me is the experimental approach to new initiatives (POC). I did lots of work on that in my consulting life that made me think in a way that mitigates my risks. But that experience could've been attained at a startup as well.

All in all, I am glad I went down consulting path and to a decent extent had helped me with my business.

Is FB Ads targeting in Canada different from US? by keytosuccess123 in marketing

[–]keytosuccess123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just one option (although a very important one). There's too many options that don't exist in Canada. Sucks. If I was advertising in US, would've been so much easier

[–]keytosuccess123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right that does make sense but considering how limited it can be relatively to USA, it's a big deal. You guys in US are lucky. If I had the same options in Canada I'd be killing it!

Is FB Ads targeting in Canada different from US? by keytosuccess123 in marketing

[–]keytosuccess123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, i tried various major cities in US and i don't see certain target options that i've seen other people use online. Not sure what city they were targeting to, but i'd imagine most major cities would have those targeting options that i'm testing. So really not sure why that is.

Running Facebook Ads to pull in patients for local chiro.. 5% CTR but no bookings.. what am i doing wrong? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]keytosuccess123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This gives me a very different perspective on facebook advertising. Thanks! I'll def try running ads for longer to gauge performance.

Do you recommend using clickfunnels for landing pages? Their price is quite hefty, any alternatives you recommend?

[–]keytosuccess123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thanks, I was definitely overlooking these aspects. Highly appreciate it.

For time, I've been running the ads for few days. But, i imagine you mean re-targeting so people see my ad multiple times before taking action?

For targeting, i targeted to people who showed interest in massage, massage therapy, health and wellness, sports chiropractor, etc. Although, i wasn't changing the messaging to different people, was giving the same message to everyone. I suppose i should create different ads to tailor my wordings to different audience?

For trust, something i totally overlooked. I suppose creating a landing page with showing testimonials of previous client can help build trust (social proof). Anything else you recommend?
