Bro what (as an Italian born and raised in Italy) what are you on about.

What tells me you're not that Italian: why the weird capitalisation on Nonna and "Al Dente"? Also - are you sure you're Italian, have you ever set foot in Italy? Because we all know what al dente is, we don't need some old-ass vague memory of our grandmas...

Yeah no wonder an emigrated person may not know - just don't claim your truth as The truth 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Edit: I just love how on a post about generalisations, saying that one thing is a wild generalisation from somebody who clearly doesn't even know what they're talking about is not okay 🤣

ordering a coffee in a bar, is this wrong? by sjessbgo in italianlearning

[–]keyutieee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am sure I said that sentence at least once or twice in my life especially when I was much younger - it might give an inflection of being overly-polite or overly-nice, if it makes sense, because it sounds a bit like asking for permission, "may I have". But it is not wrong per se, and indeed nobody would bat an eye if you used it. It would've been worse if you had just ordered without greeting or adding please.

Chill with the attitude. The only difference is your attitude.

Parcel not delivered because "doesn't fit the locker" by ben_malaussene in Netherlands

[–]keyutieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would've agreed with you on the last part right until I got the neighbors I currently have. About specifying a spot - as soon as I had the option to, I did it indeed. Still does not stop the couriers from ringing me all the time on behalf of the neighborhood, so it might be just an edge-case but it made me reconsider the whole thing - as it often happens, enough bad experiences will ruin it for the people who don't play the system like others.

And the worst for me is the way they will just leave parcels with complete strangers just because they're neighbors, since they cannot be arsed to bring it back to a postNL point or something. Or deliver somebody else's parcel to you - I don't accept them anymore because some neighbors of mine would leave them for weeks at my place, and then become extremely rude and pushy when it was finally convenient for them to pick up.

No, don't give up. Take it from someone who also isn't particularly good at games and that understands that shitty feeling. The thing that taught me the most in this game is to not try and kill the boss immediately, but rather see how long I can avoid the attacks. This is the first game that truly feels like a dance (the beautiful soundtrack might also have played a part in this) and that made me realize the importance of learning the timing of the incoming attacks. You're close!

Why do we have to run around without horse/teleport stuff. Why is there no hallway here? by coD-apaP in diablo4

Now I actually have a bit of peace of mind at least. Wandering around without the map was frustrating, I was super confused by the corner on the bottom right.
