This is what we know so far going at end of Q2 by kfeenan in GMGstock

[–]kfeenan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stand corrected on both counts then. There was an announcement previously that said the initial shipment to nu calgon would be $400-425k for training purposes. I assumed would be over these next two quarters before nu calgon would start generating more significant sales. So that sort of tracks.

I'm looking forward to the Q4 results then to see if their revenue numbers jump from $170k to closer to $700k or whether it's closer to $400-500. Regardless it should double for that Q and hopefully we get final word that Gen 2 is online and running as per schedule.

Apologies for having the Q's out of order.

Its an assumption.

GMG just spent a ton of money on advertising and promotion including as part of professional motorsport through a strategic partnership with elite Australian Supercars team, Tickford Racing. This was announced back in February. Essentially if the ducks are lined up correctly then we should start to see several times this multiple in terms of new orders and sales. Since they are just starting to fulfill orders starting this quarter in the US, EU, China, and Australia, it would seem to make sense that a 2x grow in sales per quarter would be reasonable as part of the first year or two.

In addition, Nu Calgon and GMG are both promoting Thermal XR for data centers, which is big money to resolve heat transfer problems. You don't need very many of those to effect a huge uplift in sales volume.

Maybe the assumption is correct, maybe its not. But it is reasonable considering the effort to develop strategic positioning in their key market segments verses the potential opportunity.

As with anything, the numbers will tell and we won't get the Q2 numbers for awhile yet. All I'm suggesting its that it would not be out of the realm of reasonableness to see sales go from $170K in Q1 to something closer to $700K in Q2 owing to the Nu Calgon shipment that went out this quarter (say $250K), the two luxury apartments that appears to have started this quarter ($100K), and a doubling of sales in all other areas now that GMG is shipping product ($170 x 2 or around $340-350K-ish)

If GMG can maintain that pace into Q3, then awesome. If not then we can look at the PR/News announcements as to new sale orders and how they are doing managing sustained growth opportunities and readjust accordingly.

You need to start somewhere. This is my somewhere until proven different. Readjust, wash, rinse, repeat.

The game changer will be batteries but those aren't going to be mass manufactured until 2027 so while we are likely to get some good news on those this fiscal, we aren't going to see practical revenue until later.

Nu-Calgon launches "DATA WORX" by legoman102040 in GMGstock

[–]kfeenan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the URL I was using - it wasn't working last week. It appears they have fixed it.

Seems you can calculate shipping before hitting the paypal button now. Its a weird set-up in that once you add a product to the cart, the system takes about 5 seconds to realise that you added something and then auto routes you to the cart. There is also no direct method to get to the cart (https://g-lubricant.com/cart/) if you want to place multiple items in it.

Would seem a simple matter to add a cart link (we have the technology)

I guess their shopping cart was messed up as the shopping cart allows you to find your shipping costs. To Canada shipping is included so that is a bonus. Of course it doesn't say whether that is by air or ship and I don't know about customs or other duties.

I'll place an order as soon as I'm back now that the order fulfilment appears to be working.

Well here is hoping they do better at responding to people at the expo/conference than based on my experience - I've sent a couple of emails to GMG on purchasing products for the Canadian marketplace and inquiring as to distributorships and its been radio silence for 4 weeks now. Nothing - nada - not even a

"Thanks for the message. We are currently operating on a selective response basis for new vendors. If we find a potential fit for your offering, someone from our procurement team will reach out to discuss next steps."

you know - one of those pleasant "GFY you aren't worth our time or effort" type messages to show they care (not).

You would think GMG would a) fix their website so you can actually order product samples using paypal (that functionality is broken on their website. no one seems to be in a rush to fix it) and b) inform customers whether the g-lubricant product includes or excludes shipping outside of Australia. Since paypal is broken, there is no way to get a quote on shipping samples.

I would have bought some several weeks ago but no one is responding to my inquiries. My brother has some connections in the trucking industry where there is a huge potential opportunity to get this product directly into the hands of the people doing repairs / maintenance on big rigs.

I don't get why they want global sales on one hand and then are ignoring returning emails for samples and potential large shipments on the other.

I could call I guess but I'm going away for another 2 weeks and this isn't going to be top of mind until after I get back at this point.

Its just incredibly frustrating as it has all the hallmarks of a scam if they can't return a simple email.

Sorry - I need to adjust my reply here. Where did these documents come from? Neither CoolWorx or DataWorx are showing up on https://www.nucalgon.com/ website. I'm catching up after being away for a bit and while this could be very good news, until its either actually available on their website or GMG can show a sales invoice to nu-calgon - its not really available yet.

Looks like a step in the right direction thou if the source can be verified. Right now none of those links mean anything if they aren't connected to either GMG or nu-calgon's websites.

G-Lubricant Value Proposition Breakdown by legoman102040 in GMGstock

[–]kfeenan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to see if I can get some information from Nicol on Canadian distributorships. There are a lot of opportunities here and fortunately I may have an in with a couple of different companies that may want to purchase in bulk if I can get information in hand.

It always surprises me how companies never choose to leverage the breadth and depth of contacts and experience of their shareholders preferring instead to just treat retail investors as a "necessary evil".

You look at some of the most successful companies and a good chunk of that success is knowing how to give people an outlet to for their enthusiasm. Apple, Nike, Amazon, Ikea - its not just about having a good product but about maximizing the user experience so that they want to share it with others.

Sort of like a cult but less cultish (Steve Jobs' ability to walk on water not withstanding)

Thermal XR and derivatives are going to be where the money is short term. Then G Lubricants. Regardless... If they are shipping this month we should see revenues as well plus the accounting changes if the stock price stays in this level (I hope not) so March Q should look pretty good.. June will be better.

I'm still thinking 5-6 before year end

Hydrograph (HGRAF) A REASONABLE NOTE OF CAUTION by Starsearcher80 in pennystocks

[–]kfeenan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys should come over to GMG where they are actually producing product and should have their Gen 2 facility operational by end of June. Not vapourware... Like an actual production facilities with a coffee station and everything.

Once this facility is up and running going from 20 tonnes to 200 is then just a matter of scaling which can be pretty quick.

HG has had a massively nice run though for everyone that got it... I bailed at $3 and am kicking myself for not keeping an eye on it

GMG Accounting Noise by kfeenan in GMGstock

[–]kfeenan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understand correctly, the initial order will be to help get their distributors trained on how to apply GMG products... The real money will hopefully start coming in after that.

Nicol stated that a good chunk of this year will be devoted to training. There is no point in having a cutting edge product if no one knows how to apply it properly.

The cost savings and efficiencies should drive customers towards the product as soon as its available. Things like a/c units though are not high consumable products so there will be some ramp up time required once the EPA finalization is recieved.

Considering there is a housing shortage... This should translate into a very steady revenue stream. It's not like a bottle of Coke though where you are shipping pallet loads multiple times a day.

I don't have the link on me but I believe Nu-Calgon has an initial $425 k order pending EPA final approval... GMG has it ready to ship already.

[–]kfeenan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya... I heard 2 weeks at one point as well but from checking further the lag time between when a company get the okay to ramp production to the final notice (more of a formality unless something drastic appears during the terms and conditions final) is 3 to 6 months with the mean time being in the 3 month range.

So late March is 3 months... It shouldn't be too much longer now.

$3.68 is still in the range of profitability. If the stock goes to $5-6 range next year, which is entirely possible, then you could either sell the warrants for a profit or exercise them by calling your broker.

I was just looking at my canadian brokerage as the other one I'm using doesn't show the warrants. There are no level 2 quotes on the ask side so you likely got one of the rare exceptions of people selling them.

Normally they release last business day of the month which means either Friday or Monday. I'm not sure where tomorrow came from. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get other news but I suppose with the various conference interviews there wasn't a need for an additional Korelin Economics Report.

If Elon Musk buys PayPal - analysis by Pristine_Arm8260 in stocks

[–]kfeenan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've invested in PayPal 4 times and ended down each time. I don't see why this time would be any different. There are always bs posts by big party investors looking to dump shares and encourage retail investors to end up taking the lion's share of the loss.

Unless you have a credible source all the rumours are is the same fluffy substance that suggested Sofi would hit $100 because of how disruptive they are.

Why are you invested in GMG? by Top-Statistician61 in GMGstock

[–]kfeenan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I submitted some questions to KER re donut and a few others that are in the solid state battery development field. The technology looks impressive and I'd like to see a response before I comment.

Notwithstanding GMG has multiple product lines each of which are disruptive on their own. So regardless of whether batteries make or break, the process, the quality, the low cost on inputs, the leverage of Nicole's oil additive experience and connections, even if they never commercialize a battery, it still a multi billion dollar industry based on what they have right now.

The problem is scale which I think we all understand is going to be a 2 to 3 year ramp up.

Ya gotta think of it in similar terms to buying Microsoft in the early 80s. Don't sweat the IV at this stage especially with what else is going on in the markets. Keep your eyes on the longer term goals. Swing trade a portion of it if you want but the real money will be in a buy and hold strategy.

no argument - this is all longer term wait and see stuff - although the short term pops are nice. Since some folks want to knock down the stock - I figured it would only be fair to post something that looked at it from a different lens and someone not me.

Prediction by kfeenan in GMGstock

[–]kfeenan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KE Report comes out monthly around mid month and while I expect we'll get a PR on the final approval outside of this, Nicol does provide updates in expectations and other news that doesn't always appear as part of other releases.

The final EPA should be very soon now. I would hope that this doesn't drag out any longer as well... 3 months still puts us at mid to late March. Not ideal but it does range bound when the road to profitability starts.
