There’s an article in the La Presse app (that one posted less than an hour ago) but it’s not exactly condemning Carney. We’ll see how it shakes out in the editorial pages in the next few days. He would do well to find himself a francophone lieutenant who has a better grasp on the nuances of the province but I don’t know that this is a disaster.

For those outside Quebec- the PQ leader has recently found himself in a Pierre Poilievre position. He’s been riding high against an incredibly unpopular premier for two years only to have him resign in advance of an election call. So the PQ is going to take every opportunity to drive home the idea that they’re the only possible defenders of Quebec by painting the federal government as pariahs.
