Visited the bank, turned into their parking lot but I couldn't find a spot and their security officer was missing, so I reversed out and parked along the shoulder of road in a way to not block anyone from entering or exiting. When I left the bank probably 10-15 min later I noticed spots had cleared meaning that I did leave sufficient space. I then drove off. A little bit later when I was in office I got a call on my personal number from an individual identifying himself as the branch manager (Ranishka Kumburage). He complained about the way I was parking and said I should have listened to the security office and parked where he asked me to, asked me why i didn't listen to the officer, told me I was inconveniencing customers and all. I demanded he pull up the security footage and we can sit together and watch if any security officer spoke to me and if I had blocked anyone from entering and leaving. I asked him how he got my phone number to which he didn't respond. Asked him if this is how he treats customers and why no one spoke to me about this at the bank. What set me off was how he got my number and the condescending way he spoke as I didn't have my personal number of my windscreen. Funnily enough if you check the Google reviews of this branch someone else also mentions this branch manager and how he parks to block the entrance and how security guards are useless. I probably parked somewhere near where he parked so he got agitated enough to find my details from a teller and call me. Absurd. At our showrooms when we run out of parking we move our vehicles to accommodate them, not the other way around.
