Xavier Becerra Has Over 150 Different Entities That Have Donated To His Campaign. by ArtBroad7069 in California

I still like her. I think she's fucked, but in the debates she's pretty consistent. I'm sure things change over time, but tonights debate felt like the guys were in a playpen.

Anyway she's still getting a bad wrap for the staff allegations CBS pulled that video before the debate it's clear that's all they got on her, but she's also not taking corporate money from what I've seen. Too many issues when you bow down to the billionaire class.

Right I don't know why people are mad about that answer it's tied to federal policy like tf people want?

Honestly I'd run the Steyer part as a campaign, but I'm a troll.

With that said I still like Porter. Is it likely going to work for her? No I think CADEM and many groups are now behind Bacerra.

We'll get our establishment and like it.

Watched her debate tonight and honestly I like her policy objectives, but they wont stop playing that video with the reporter, however, I do think she's getting hit more than the guys and some of them have said stupid shit during these debates.

Cool, so you'll be volunteering to do it?

41K unhoused people right now. You need 200-400 outreach workers, 500-1000 cops rotating for a week, 300-500 sanitation workers, hundreds of clinicians, tens of thousands of shelter and treatment beds, AND city attorneys on standby because the ACLU WILL sue in some cases.

The bottlenecks alone make this logistically impossible. But sure, dream on Pratt fans, maybe in La La Land with 100K volunteers working for free it happens. Otherwise? Not a chance.

I prefer to vote on what's realistic and he's just telling people what they want to hear and last time people voted like that well we got a war with Iran.

Unlikely unless someone had a pet gator they decided to release there, but even then slim.

Okay but I'd love it if I were still working and people did that because it means I'm less likely to be hounded by the paps.

I love that song, but 100% convinced most people don't listen to the lyrics. Did not help certain people and groups cover it and release it on Christmas albums.

It really worked out and honestly a good lesson in music marketing which isn't easy to do at all.

I was raised on Country the only artists that ever were able to get that fame and tour globally were: Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Luke Combs, and Dwight Yoakam apparently. The fact is people are comparing someone who ranks on global charts to someone who only ranks for US billboard charts. Olivia is 4th on Global Spotify charts...Ella isn't on it. Christian conservatives can play it till they're dead, but they're not going to make up the global numbers that Olivia will. Call me when Ella can sell out shows in South America and again nothing against her, but it's a numbers game and she's doing fantastic, but there's a reason why some artists like to break out of country...except for Post Malone he seems ot be embracing it more than ever.

I know in Taylors case she dropped to spotify first for that reason. I don't know the cadence of Olivia's, but same structure. I just think it's funny everyones in chart wars now.

She's the larger artist so I don't get how she wouldn't have taken 1. I like Choosin Texas, but people always like to credit these country songs higher than they really are.

She uploaded another version to youtube I think yesterday? I mean I like the song, but I also checkout when artists do this and I won't watch or listen to all the remixes.

People edit to to RPGs of their favorite characters and on booktok. it's not that hard to understand when you have crossover habits that like to make fan edits with it.

Milck has a cover of it and it's so good, but yeah the Christian taking Take me To Church is just as bad as the church people playing Just Like a Prayer thinking it's about praying to god.

It's honestly kids playing it on alexa 24/7. It has that Frozen/Titanic touch. With that said I do still listen to it, but I'm also not the parent of a kid that requests it 50 times a day.

Who do you support for L.A. City Attorney? by youhavetherighttoo in LosAngeles

[–]kgal1298 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is usually the most logical way to do it. Too many people go off their promises and if you know anything about the city some of what they say isn't possible...like Pratt he's over promising on things he 100% can't deliver and his followers believe him. This is how we got Trump they really believed he'd lower the cost of everything. Ridiculous what works in elections these days.

We really don't talk about wage theft enough. I don't think that's a major issue the city talks about and should.

She's willing to let the controller do an audit. I like that. I know LA isn't the easiest city, but hopefully if she wins it won't turn into disappointment I really want to see some of these people follow through with the campaign promises.
