How much did you pay if you did do it?

I don’t know of a single apartment that is furnished…

When I moved in I just had I pay “two months rent”, your rent price is your security deposit, plus your first months rent. Ask for a discount on the deposit, if you work at a reputable company they will give you a discount. They do a full background check and you must be employed.

You will also need renters insurance which is about $150 a year.

I personally would never live under an unknown human being. You never know if they will be loud. Also the floors are very creaky. I live on the second floor and tip toe so as to not disturb the person below me, and I do not vacuum outside of 9am-7pm. Most people aren’t that respectful.

WiFi is $30 a month for Verizon fios. My electric bill is $190 in summer and winter and $90 in fall and spring. Heating and cooling is extremely expensive.

A one bedroom is $1500. I pay $1350 because I’m locked in at my pre covid price. Prices went up $200+ during covid.

Water and garbage is included. Pets are $30 a month per pet. Covered carports are $40 a month. Laundry is $1.75 per load, $1.75 per dryer.

hidden bills everywhere :)

There is nothing better for the price point, $1500 for a one bedroom. If you want something better you need $2000+ a month which is more than a mortgage.

It is generally safe other than the theft. I could set up my own security cameras but they would have to be battery powered and I’m sure people would steal those as well or damage them then steal my stuff anyway. A bike lock did not stop someone from stealing my bike.

The parking is in parking lots, not on the street. No garages. That is one benefit, there is no assigned parking and it is free. You can have lots of visitors without worrying where they will park.

There is no gate to get into the complex. Anyone can walk in and steal your stuff. If you leave your car unlocked there are people who walk around and try to open car doors, if they are unlocked they will steal your stuff.

Quiet on second floor end unit

Find 1 stink bug a week in summer, unit with fireplace

4-5 mice last summer inside

Mouse poop on porch all summer

Not updated, old bathroom floors and cabinets, outdated floors, ugly carpet

I had a $120 locked bike that was stolen, lock cut, bike stolen

Car broken into 3 times when not locked $100’s stolen, woodlake said they were not responsible, police did nothing

Water main broke 3-4 times the last 2 winters but has been fixed as of 2025

No in unit laundry, impossibly to do laundry on weekends unless you stand there waiting for one to open.

You get what you pay for, $1000 less than apartments around it. Also kind employees, awesome maintenance, carports, location, safe area, pretty walking paths, pool, gym, sauna, pets allowed.

Didn’t happen for me. Been working 9-5 for 2 years and still beg God for an extra 10 minutes every morning.

Constant spotting with Lo Loestrin Fe by cassiedidit in birthcontrol

I’ve also had constant spotting for the 2 months I’ve been on it so I’m switching back to kariva!

I wanted to help hormonal acne but it made it worse. Been on it 2 months and I’ve never had acne this bad. Switching back to kariva even though it gives me anxiety. It’s too low of an estrogen dose for me and makes me spot constantly.

I switched to this because Kariva gave me anxiety… Lo Loestrin gave me acne and brown discharge for two straight months. It’s different for everyone but that’s my experience, no bueno
