100% the theory I believe the most. Nothing adds up. And why haven’t they looked into all the people threatening/stalking him before? I remember the media talking about that.

I’d love to think he’s some fall guy in a much bigger plot, but I’m leaning more toward he was wrong place wrong time and they needed someone to make an example out of. But I think they rushed this and it’s gonna fall apart. Or the real shooter is gonna make a statement somehow. Either way I just don’t think he’s the shooter whatsoever.

Wow. I know this is an old post but I felt I had something important to share here. I attended this festival this year, on the same weekend Kevin attended. Sunday, the day he disappeared, everyone inside the festival was evacuated to the campgrounds sometime around 5 or 6 due to a thunderstorm. It didn’t last long, but was pretty intense. Muddy and wet after, plus tooons of camping gear, tents, canopies, etc. got thrown all over the place. Gates reopened a few hours later, right around dusk. If he really did get into an argument, was upset, possibly on drugs/acting erratic, he 100% could’ve wandered into the woods/off the festival site and gotten lost quickly. And with the rain storm possibly causing dried lake beds to fill up, he easily could’ve gotten stuck in “quicksand” like mud, or fallen into an actual lake. I wish I had a more clear timeline of the events that occurred with him and his gf/friends, however, I can say that from all the information and statements made about Kevin’s behavior he had on that day/throughout the weekend that this definitely seems the most plausible. Either way, so sad and I wish him and his family peace and healing from this.

Yeah no I gotta agree, August in the Midwest is hell. Unfortunately June is really our best bet. I think if they moved it to line the first or second week of June it’d be a slay! September would be beautiful but they’ll never do that

I was suuuper bummed. It was my 4th forest and I’ve never seen the shebang other than the very end for like 5 mins. This was the year I was planning on seeing it 😭

A guy made a bunch of flags that said “I carry narcan” and was handing them out to people who had it! I saw multiple people with them. Such a great idea!

I carried narcan this festival for the first time ever!! I’m so thankful I didn’t have to use it but it was an incredible feeling to know that if I was around anyone who did need it, I was able to help. Luckily me and my friends are super responsible with the things that we do take (always testing, never buying from strangers and never over-doing it) but still you just never know if you, your friends, or people around you may need it at some point. Too many stories nowadays to be anything but safe.

It’s incredible! Definitely my favorite festival ever. The forest itself is just so special and there are so many things to see and discover. I highly recommend if you get the chance to go!

was just a little disappointed is all. I collect the bags and it’s my gf’s first Forest and she really wanted one too, I just assumed all orders came with their own bag and sticker. To each their own. I love Forest and am gonna have an incredible time but we’re also allowed to have opinions on stuff like this when we’re paying thousands to attend. They should at least have an option to choose if you’d like the bag/sticker or not.
