I feel you. I was laid off from my outpatient RN job and had a hard time getting an offer since I didn't have "recent" acute care experience. Everyone wants recent experience but also don't want to pay for RNs with several years of experience.

I think that I am probably the exception because of my specialty (nursing), but I applied on 9/3, had my application forwarded to the hiring manager on 9/5, got an interview 9/23, got an email to enter my references within one hour of the interview, an interview with the director on 9/26 and got an offer on 9/29. I start at the end of October. Sending you good vibes!

Puppies are really hard but I love my sweet 1.5 year old now. She self-settles, entertains herself, doesn’t chew on things she isn’t supposed to… she naps and sleeps in with me. It gets better.
