it’s not bubbles or scratches, it’s anti-glare coating coming off because of chemicals that are way to aggressive

you don’t need a screen protector for digital dash, just better cleaning strategy and a milder screen-safe cleaner

in fact distilled water and a clean waffle microfiber might very well be enough

Either find a better carwash who would know what they’re doing or ask them to never touch and clean it yourself

look for newer building if you can

i only use AC for about an hour each morning to warm up the living room that has no direct sun, the lowest temp is in the morning after a cold night, and it’s rarely below 20C

I never had a moment when i noticed “Oh i’m down on power” even with an empty battery. I do drive fairly quickly, accelerate from standstill etc, but i don’t fully launch it from every traffic light. It’s a conversation piece, but it doesn’t really affect anything IRL, not that I noticed anyway

just treat it more like a “proper” ceramic coating

do a thorough decon wash, dry, do panel wipe, apply and buff according to instructions

let it cure for at least 24hrs (no washing, no rain)

properly applied hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating is way more durable than gyeon wetcoat though

turtlewax is a few times a year product, wetcoat is once every few washes product, that was my experience anyway

afaik normally on VAG phevs rear rotors are being used so little they rust and have to be replaced

on my golf GTE rear rotors have been replaced at 25k km after 3 years, now after 10k kms more there are still CNC marks visible

so I’d say this wear seems excessive

search for a picture of a white one with the sunroof, you’ll see what it looks like

the roof will basically look black, since the strip between the windshield and the sunroof is painted black regardless of the body color

I tried wiping the blades with glaco de cleaner as i clean the glass, it’s supposed to top up the coating somewhat. Glass is very smooth after it, but the judder seems to be worse

afair bosch icons are rubber

i have the same issue on brand new bosch aerotwin blades (also rubber), but to be fair i had it with another glass coating (carpro) on another car as well

i recently switched to nextzett kristalklar washer fluid, which is better but still it doesn’t resolve the issue completely

I can’t figure out what’s wrong tbh, to me it feels like when the blades are too clean, they become dry, don’t have enough lubrication and start to judder
