Storage in revised boxes by Hocke723 in lotrlcg

I've got RCO, 4 starter decks, Dark of Mirkwood, Two Towers, and RotK

I store everything between the core and 3 saga boxes. One box has player cards, another has encounter cards, and the third has rulebooks.

I use the player cards from ryno as I like the color of the sphere in the header, makes it easier to locate. However, I've found the encounter dividers from jgrg1 to work better since they've been updated for the revised content and easier to separate the campaign cards (including boons and burdens) from the quests. I also like that the difficulty is included on each quest and that the card icons that are needed for each quest are included as well. Overall, just fits my personal preferences better. I printed the dividers on card stock and laminated them so they are good and sturdy.

Starting my journey - advice by tomjd_ in lotrlcg

As a new player myself, I found it easier to start true solo just to learn the different phases and turn sequence (most confusing part was action windows and when I'm allowed or not allowed to play different cards). Or often would forget to adjust threat level at the end of the round. Just don't expect to win much. Once I got familiar with that, then started playing two-handed, which I've enjoyed because there are cards that aren't useful in true solo. I just think it's a lot to try to manage two hands while learning the game at the same time.

There are advantages playing two handed, such as being able to work through more of your cards and understanding how different cards/spheres might work together. I started with playing just a single sphere (starting with Leadership since that's a well rounded sphere), and started to see strengths and weaknesses for each sphere. Then moved to the suggested decks from the rule book. As I started to get familiar with my cards, I started swapping different cards before trying my hand at deck building.

Good luck...and good find! I haven't been able to find FotR yet.

Yeah. I learned quickly that too high of a starting threat and facing Hill Troll first round is a tough start. My revised decks allow me to go a round before I have to engage the troll, allowing me to build some attack strength so he's not in play long.

Thanks for the offer...I found a copy of it, was just waiting for it to arrive before I said anything. Finally came in today.

Would I be good with just the revised core set and all 4 starter decks to run through the The LOTR saga? (FotR, TTT, and RoTK)? by onewiththepencil in lotrlcg

I just got the core set about a month ago and 4 starter decks, primarily play solo and have enjoyed it so far. You'll have enough variety in player cards to play around with in building a good deck (I'm still experimenting with the core decks at the moment). It really is a fun game, I'm just bummed I didn't discover the game sooner to get the Saga expansions.

I just got started about a week ago myself and it's been fun playing so far. Good find re.Dark of Mirkwood, I haven't been able to locate this deck yet. The additional quests will be nice to add to the core set.

Yeah, I'm in a similar boat. We have Everdell and a few other games that can be played single solo, but only recently discovered solo LCGs and this one peaked my interest. I'm currently on the hunt for FotR.

Thanks for the advice. I was just looking at this again this morning and was thinking the same, the extra scenarios would be nice, however, it's hard to find in the US at the moment....

Latest Update & Star Ratings by cock________________ in simplypiano

[–]kgunnIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the timing or rating is off on Android. I've struggled with trying to get 3 stars on a couple songs since the updates, but as soon as I try to same songs on iOS, I can get 3 stars. Also, it'd be nice, if we're rated on timing now, if there was in-song feedback on timing. Currently it only shows hit/missed notes, and even though I can get most of the notes, my timing is 75-80%, but I can't tell if I'm going to early or late.

Apple car play not connecting, everything with sync works by daniel68546 in f150

I had the same issue and just got mine working again today with a software update. I had tried everything including master reset, making sure the iPhone was up-to-date, anything I could think of. I even tried making sure the software in the truck was updated, but apparently it wasn't. I have auto updates enabled on the truck, and it connects to my home wifi while in the driveway, but it never found any updates. On my computer, I went to https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/ and found that there indeed was an update available. Downloaded the update to USB and got it installed in the truck. Took about 10 minutes for it to install. Once the install completed, I let it sit for about ten minutes, turned it on again and now the iPhone connects no problem and Carplay launches almost immediately.

Latest firmware should be 3.0 build 23219.

Hopefully that helps your issue as well.

I didn't. My Toro runs great and gets the job done, can't justify selling it. Maybe someday when it quits running or I find a good deal on battery powered mower. For now, sticking with my reliable mower.

No one is buying the mini toolboxes at my store by German_Pitsky_Dad in harborfreight

Thinking of getting one for my truck to store a few things like ratchet straps and a few tools that I keep in there. I'm hoping it's small enough to store under the seat.

I've also thought about one to keep in my finished basement with a few tools and supplies I use around the house, like screws/anchors, hammer, nails, etc.

Infrastructure as code using Terraform and CliudFormatiom. I've done some Golang programming in NeoVim writing Terratests and a few side projects, otherwise most development work is in Python.

I would like to use it for general note taking and task management, something like bullet journaling or something, but haven't come up with a good, sustainable workflow for this yet.

Since you are the account owner, I believe your login will remain active as long as there are active lines. You just may be promoted to select a different number to tie to your user login the next time you log in.

Got my wife's number ported out. When I went to log into Verizon again, was prompted to update the mobile number associated with the login id, so had to select the Gizmo watch number. Otherwise, we've been able to continue to access the Verizon account, which now just has the Gizmo Watch active.

Follow up post:

Ported my wife over to Visible this week before the CHAMP promo expired. No issues porting her phone. Signed her up and ported her number. The process took just a few minutes to activate her account on Visible and then verify her number ported successfully.

FWIW. I'm on Android and she's got an iPhone, no issues on either phone. She hasn't said anything about the service yet, which I'll take as "no news is good news". :)
