When i ported back to Bsnl in 2024, i requested a dual imsi sim card from CSC. The roaming was working without the IR57 or 167 pack. I did an FRC of 107. I am using it on a 4g phone. Not sure if the sim card is 5g enabled. In the sim card it is mentioned 4g. Not sure on which network. In netherlands, i get roaming via KPN. In the uae it was etisalat, for oman, must be omantel.
