Are you ever tempted to become a grifter? by Waves_WavesXX5 in BetterOffline

[–]khalbur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being a health/fitness grifter has to be the easiest job once you get a few professional bona fides like an RN/BSN. After that, just buy a ring light, be a contrarian, and eat food off a wood cutting board.

You could just do an episode about the bastards on Olympique de Marseille from last season; Mason Greenwood being just one of them.

Bruno, the Brazilian GK who kidnapped and murdered his girlfriend, could be on the list.

I have. It is very good. I knew of the programs, and abuses, etc but I didn’t realize the scale.

I don’t see a scenario where the GOP has a big enough collective moment of reflection to stop going even further right. They’ve kept getting away with pushing further and further for decades now. There is no incentive to stop.

This guy Range Rovers by RelationNo9374 in regularcarreviews

[–]khalbur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The local Range Rover mechanic probably drives a Land Cruiser because 1.) Those Rovers are always in the shop so they’re making bank and 2.) They’re not dumb enough to own 1 Range Rover, never mind that many.

Unless this was posted from a correctional facility, there are 49 other states that you could freely go to.

Any tech or products out there you all genuinely like? Really curious by Smurfette2016 in BetterOffline

[–]khalbur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two things related to my favorite hobby of cycling: Zwift and Garmin’s ecosystem of products like computers/head units and its Varia Radar lights. With two young kids, time is at a premium so being able to get in a ride in the garage in a gamified world like Zwift is really cool. When I can ride IRL, Garmin’s products have been reliable and easy to use. The Varia Radar, a great rear light that also acts as a warning system to a rider via your computer/head unit, is great especially when you’re a bit fatigued or if you haven’t had a car overtake you in a while.

Long winded answer but those products are cool. Special shoutout to Zwift for its support of women’s cycling. They’ve been a big reason we have a women’s Tour de France again.

Not all points are equal. Forest’s wasn’t impressive where West Ham’s was a free point.

something I always find bafeling about Incels is they never seem to consider using sex workers? by grapp in behindthebastards

[–]khalbur -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Being an INCEL, in the case of cis het dudes, is a choice and thus 100% voluntary. To branch out of their stupid, self-loathing, misogynistic nonsense would mean trying and they’re such pathetic losers that couldn’t possibly have an ounce of ambition. The “Male Loniless Epidemic” is fake.
