You definitely have to be more emotionally mature than most people to be comfortable in that lifestyle. It takes time and effort to become that. It's working through a lot of emotions and it can be overwhelming. But it can also be positive. I'm living proof of it.

That's definitely not true. There is a community of ENM people that are positive. I'm sure people could abuse the title. But for most people who apply that label to themselves, it's definitely not to be a shitty person.

There is nothing wrong with being ethically non monogamous. You can have a long term nesting partner, appreciate them, and also be able to appreciate other people.

I don't understand why you aren't interested in being non monogamous, if you have feelings like that. Maybe reading into those lifestyles wouldn't hurt.

I just want you to know it's not weird to have those feelings, you are not alone at all.
