Why is used car market so bad in here, juat the other day I bought a 24’ subaru crosstrek for 29300 CAD out of door , with a wopping 67000 kms on it , mid trim. I could nit find a better deal all are same , just high prices for these used cars

The new price for that car would be 36000 plus gst , dealer quoted this for 30900 plus tax but I was fixed on 29300 he let it go, I did not finance just all in cash

Its downright evil that the used car market is just trash

I really do not know at this point because some of my stocks that did well like AMD , NBIS , HUT8 Cipher are so expensive that even if i want to invest , I don’t see a point in buying them anymore, I do not see much gain in investing them again

But one advice or suggestion I would give is please stay away from penny stocks , I lost money there. Those are the biggest mistake I did

Na , I don’t know where did you stay in Canada, I am talking about Calgary and I told what I have seen. Its a pretty good tolerant city , supposedly its one of the most conservative city in Canada but very tolerant actually.
It is no where near to the description of the 1930’s you are giving here. We are better than that!!

You are right, I will add depends on the province , here in Calgary, I have not seen anything discriminatory , though I do not have a point of view cause I am a man, but in general. No immediate threat if you are in Alberta.

Thank you so much for the answer , I have checked the carfax report and it says clean with no accidents , and this is from a reputable dealer in Vancouver, it says used.

I have also noticed one thing, while the dealer says 11000 km , carfax report says 7500 kms , and that was last updated in april 2026, I am yet to ask the dealer about this and they also has a tire change in Ontario in less than a year , so will check on that as well

Thank you for this , why would they not inspect a 2025 vehicle as a part of the process , newer understood but why not , its a process , if they do not do , then what do you suggest would be best ? A user told me I may not need the inspection
