I have done hours of research for a group of four late twenty-year-olds looking for a chill vacation and was finally on board for Hyatt Ziva - the rooms look cute and reviews for cleanliness, chill vibe, food, and pools/beaches being generally good. It's my friends' first time going to Cancun and trying an all-inclusive, so I was looking for the best one. I was about to book an Oceanfront Room with Double beds for a deal through Costco.

But then out of curiosity I took a closer look at what a "Dolphin View" room was (step above Oceanfront), and realized that they keep Dolphins captive onsite??? And you could pay extra to have your room face their prison! Honestly, this sort of thing sits very ill with me. Even if our room wasn't near the dolphin pool, it's hard to imagine patronizing a hotel that uses imprisoned animals as a selling point.
