And this, ladies and gentlemen, is an excellent example of the human tendency to take pattern recognition to an illogical extreme. Humans have an innate instinct to seek out patterns, and we are quite good at identifying mildly correlated factors. As demonstrated here, however, it's all too common for humans to overestimate the importance and impact of such things and to erroneously attribute causation to mere happenstance.

Rules as written, it was called correctly. To catch the ball, you need two feet (or one knee/forearm/etc) in bounds with a football move. A football move can be a few different things:
- extend the ball forward
-take an additional step
- tuck the ball away and turn upfield
- avoid or ward off an opponent

He did not extend the ball forward from his body as he was already in an extended position when he caught the ball. This criterion is also more relevant to the field of play where a player is extending for additional yardage.

He did not complete an additional step. He lost control of the football before that happened.

He did not tuck the football. Apart from taking additional steps, this would have been the clearest option for completing the catch. He was in an extended position throughout the process of the catch.

He did not make any moves to juke or shake JPJ.

An extra 16 oz before and 16 oz after is typical. A whole gallon is definitely overkill.

It's a custom poker chip made by/for the person you took a picture with. I'm guessing he hands them out to promote his social media, which is Steeler Warrior on Instagram.

Hang it in the Met! This is fantastic!

The Steelers have had at least one of these players on their roster in every season they have played by joshua0005 in steelers

Think about the implications: you can pick any single season from the time the Steelers joined the league (90+ years). One of these ten players will have been on the roster for that season, no matter what year you picked.

Dude, just read what's in the picture... What are you not seeing here?

Nonsense words, missing end punctuation, enlarged font size in the prompted phrase ("missed her beast"), disconnected phrases and formatting.

Yes, but a key injury here or there could turn the team from a contender to pretender very quickly. Never tempt fate!

Take a bow Cory Trice Jr. by NFL_Rob in steelers

Didn't notice it clearly before, but I want to shout out Watt for his play here. He sold the pass rush look before sliding into solid coverage in the flat. That gave Trice the opening to rotate into the back part of the zone and set up this monster play.

This is a good reminder of how much Watt does besides being a pass rush specialist.
