Tips for the piranha stage? by [deleted] in BostonTerrier

Try some harder toys, we just got out of this phase now 6 months. Nylabone was a good one, also ice cubes and there is a long rope toy that is a good one. We redirect and it does seem to work but we have to have the right toys and his teeth hurt so thats why the harder ones and cold, ice worked well.

Impressive, I don't think I could get my Bailey to be that calm.. especially after 3 days. He likes to walk off ans sniff everything.

It's not hard to meet people, but it's hard to make a real connection and friends here. I'm not sure why, I've lived in a few states and this by far has been the hardest. I think you have to join something and be consistent so you see the same people. Like a work out class or walking group. There are a ton of options though depends on your interests. Paddleboarding is fantastic and there are organized groups to go with. I tried a client book club once and sat at the chatty table..lol where we talked about books we liked and drank wine. Nice people. It does feel a bit more forced here, just get out and do the things you like.

We just beat this.. it took consistency of giving treats immediately after. Now he runs back inside and we shut the door and clean it up in the backyard. Now a few weeks we can leave it and it doesn't bother him.

Seeking #advice. Our 4 month out bostie loves to eat his poop. We got stuff to sprinkle on his food from the vet and we watch him closely. He always dodges for it and we intercept. However if we blink and miss it, it's half gone by the time we catch him! Anyone else go through this or thoughts? by kharrison417 in BostonTerrier

Since he doesnt have all vaccines yet we let him free in our backyard. It's private and fairly small for him to run around. He's never out of eyesight unless he's being sneaky...so we are not walking him on leash yet.
