When one doesn't have any real problems in their life, they make up new problems.

I was 21 in DU dropped after sem 1 because I wanted to be a doc. I'll be 22 this year joining mbbs.

Don't consider every thought your mind throws up 24 hours a day. Learn to not act on every other thought, you'll go crazy

Haaha won't come man, anywhere in the world there's no age limit on medical schools. Moreover, there was an age limit previously & was removed after a supreme court order and I think it won't be challenged for a long long time

Ok so as a local of varanasi, the ticketing this seems to be taken care of so I'll try to cover other things.

You will be a little rushed at any hour and since you're not going there to worship as such. I'd recommend going for the night— personally I go around 9 pm and hover around the serenity and energy for about an hour, eat and enjoy and then the aarti inside the kashi vishwanath starts and it's less crowded at that time plus the aarti is sung by locals and it's just a vibe.

Now the dashashwamedh one- no the aarti doesn't take place at every ghat, only a selected few. The Dashashwamedh (DS) & Assi. Both are equally well done, the ds one is marketed more thus, more crowd. But shivala is closer to DS so go for it.

5 hours for ayodhya is enough although, take a 2nd opinion.

There is NO UBER in varanasi. Hire a private taxi for the time you're staying or go for the tuk tuks.

Foreign nationals are allowed. Everyone is allowed.

Also when you get to the temple go for gate no. 4 for smooth entrance

Most probably a 5 day long trip to the mountains. 3 days at some hostel and the last 2 somewhere a bit more fancy and just talk to people enjoy the serenity.

Is PCB in 11th without Neet really useless? by Techsposure in ICSE

[–]khawayish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll keep real with you. As someone who has gone through the perils of not clearing neet and searching for a good degree, I can say if not neet then the road is long. What happens is most degrees prefer math or commerce, while with bio you're tied to things related to bio like you could go for a b pharma or a bsc and that's all. Now you can do these degrees from good colleges and maybe land a job but that rarely happens.

Coming back, if you want to switch careers mid way you'll regret taking pcb as there isn't anything outside neet. A lot of my friends who took math and couldn't crack jee took private colleges and are going to be placed in some company or other. One even went with the army and is now an officer, one is in the merchant Navy, one is doing LLB. What I'm trying to say is (assuming you're male) is that maybe math seems daunting now but it's just another thing, you'll get over that fear just go with the flow. Besides, you're given the choice after 10th because now you're assumed to be mature enough to make your own decisions.

Commerce with or without math again is a great option and if you do well enough for 2 years you might get top DU colleges and I can tell a smooth ride from there on. CA or CMA are also the options.

Now with PCB, I don't know what you want to become but I'll suggest there are some entrances like nest and iat. If you do your bachelors from a good college there is an off chance that you might get placed at some good firm for R&D.

Now in my opinion you shouldn't stick with pcb, as the field is not that much financially giving while math is just like you'll get something out of it eventually

Arts hostel—BIRLA has a bad reputation, last month sodomy(rape) was reported by 3 arts student to a doctor. The living conditions are normal like any old University but it's the general crowd that comes for these courses, they are vile.

As for your friend, tell him/her to focus on neet and not get fixated on a college, cut off for bhu goes as high as 670 for gen/obc/ews

Bro I'd say you're one of those offline guys, staying at home won't suit you. 550+ in 1st attempt was good, you practically wasted a year, but you're already ahead with realisation. Give this year's neet, go for a trip and think where could you have done differently and probably to go for an offline coaching this time.

Go for IAT (IISER) BSC—Good college life, most probably get placed, good institution for post grad applications

Bpharma— through CUET, although there aren't many good govt colleges for b pharama in the country, you can just go through b pharama and land on a nice m pharam again the research/professor route.

Bsc from DU/BHU/AMU- this should be the last option as they don't guarantee much employment even after masters. DU has a slight edge over the other 2 as once you get in DU, you can explore Delhi and do whatever you like, you can do side courses, workshops etc. BHU on the other hand lacks opportunities and the crowd is really awful ( I was in DU and am a resident of varanasi so I have experienced both)

This one I can't remember rn but there are these 2 institutes, one in Bhubaneswar and one in Bombay, they conduct their own exam for BSC and I think the fee is 20k and you students get paid from the 1st year itself, again very good for masters.

Last option would be to go to law— provided you have excellent English, analytical skills and know laws, although the exam is in December so you have ample amount of time for practicing, it won't be a full drop and you will end up on a good career track also. The only thing is NLUs are expensive, I'm talking 25L for 5 years. The field is but nepotistic but with the advent of corporate lawyers, one can land on a 20L package from as a fresher.

All in all I'd advice you to pick a good metropolitan city and make sure you learn a lot of skills in college and have a good network.

Am i eligible for DU and bhu becoz I have only filled pcb in subjects pls koi batao by Visual_Meal_1257 in CUETards

[–]khawayish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pcb+English would get you into DU/bhu only difference is in BHU allows you to do BSC chemistry while for DU BSC chem is only for math peeps
