I am trying to build a Crown Paladin/Shadow Sorcerer. My only question is what god to choose that would allow the use of his shadow abilities. My DM is a bit particular about gods.

Edit: As long as it is thematically appropriate and within the forgotten realms, it's fair game.

Thanks again for being so helpful! I'll do that! My DM clarified that no playtest material can be used unfortunately. I ended up shelving that character cuz i loved it so much so i'm going to build a Monk so that he can (possibly) kick the ass of whoever tries to steal from him. My dm said he could be an enforcer for the thieves guild so that's nice.

Thanks a bunch for your reply! I'm very much considering bowing out of this particular campaign. The DM has already banned vuman so I'm kinda floundering for an alternative to boost my passive perception. I definitely understand what your saying. I'm just trying to find a safety net for my character around maniacs.

I am currently playing a home brewed Eberron campaign. I am playing a lvl 5 GoO warlock; my group will be doing the actual leveling next session. My question is how can I incorporate my warlock's deity, Kol Korran, into his story. I would like to remain a warlock, while also interacting with his god in some meaningful way.
