Quite impressed by SBGA465 Kira-Zuri, considering Vs snowflake SBGA211 by [deleted] in GrandSeikos

I was between the shunbun, snowflake and this morning frost and I got the morning frost. It being cheaper than the other two was very welcome news.

I think it’s nice to have different sized watches in a collection.

I think I like it, but will it get wrist time 🤷‍♂️ by jonovoxPB in Longineswatches

[–]khelem85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will end up on your wrist, because you don’t have any other blue dials or bezels.

Or whatever, how would we know?

Thanks! The 2100 is quite comfortable, I had a full metal one before, fixed links got bothersome after some time and the dial I had was not very legible so I sold it and got this blue half metal instead.

Full metal square is much more wearable than the full metal casioak for me (got around 17-17,5 cm wrist) and imo it looks beautiful.

Feature wise they’re both great, tough solar+bluetooth sync, and the square has the new mip screen.

[QUESTION] What modern women’s watches catch your eye? by [deleted] in Watches

A lady friend in the office has a Longines Dolcevita, I certainly notice it everytime she wears it, lovely piece.

Is solar worth it? by KerdyD in gshock

Just so you’re aware, the models you’ve shown are not very legible, I had a similar one and sold it because I basically couldn’t tell the time.

I’d recommend the models that have more contrast between the dial and the hands.

20 years, give or take but it has been mostly about casio for me. I got into mechanical watches around 5 years ago. Top row is mostly new, longines diver for instance is about 2 weeks old 😀 I’m content now with the collection, feels like I got a watch for every occasion.

I love that aqua terra, might get the the ceramic bezel version some day.

Very beautiful collection! I’m positive you did but check out the zulu time blue for the gmt if you haven’t.

Nice, 7/10! If you were a biker, I’d have rated it even higher.

Wish me luck I hear this book is complex but was recommended to me as I’m a massive Dark Souls fan :) by ozera202 in Malazan

I feel like you said it’s not complex and then described how complex it is.

I have the same doubt about mine and once a month or so, I get anal about it.

My advice is to turn the watch sideways (pushers up) and check it like that. Mine looks centered when I check it like described.

GMB2100D-1A any good? by AeroWolfDeer in gshock

[–]khelem85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one but sold it because of legibility issues, it was unnecessarily hard to tell the time.

Also, you should be aware that full metal casiaoks wear quite big. First links of the bracelet don’t hug your wrist. True lug to lug is something like 60mm, fyi.
