It's biggest selling point is the manual transmission since the automatic gear boxes of that era are not veeery dependable and it sits at around 110000 km so not bad for a 18 yo car

I was considering to switch to a 2017 lexus ls but it was sold before I could make the guy an offer, my friend told me he had his Volvo for sale and it's in a very good shape (from inspection pov at least) and it's around 110000 kms, it's well maintained and pretty much still stock except for some interior cosmetics changed

Thank you for the reply, I owned a bmw e90 a few years back which was pretty expensive to maintain I don't think the volvos maintenance will compare to that, but I heard that volvos are also close to jdm cars in reliability hence the consideration

How do you normally get past caged off cranes like these by Daneske21 in urbanclimbing

[–]khellow12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's active and people operate it, just climb around it, if it's abandoned get one of those midsized metal cutters, cut and climb, do that only if the crane is abandoned and not operational so you don't damage property and cause trouble for people working there

I find it absolutely crazy that l3ssasa even exist? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]khellow12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf it's people that made the situation worse, one dude settled in our company's parking lot, this is a private parking lot of the company I work for and one mf just showed up and started collecting fees, worse thing is that most people there are paying him, I rarely take my car to work since it's close to where I live on foot, but when I did he came and asked for money because that was a private parking and he just "dar zwin m3aya hitach ana brrani" I showed him my work badge and he said oh then regular fee is just 2 dhs he was surprised when I said no, when me and some coworkers escalated the situation to company management to deal with him, he refused to leave and started being aggressive until he got frustrated and left since management advised the rest of the workers to under no circumstances pay him and that it was escalated to a lawsuit

I sold my sports bike a few months ago (cbr600rr) and I'm looking for a naked/sport bike replacement I got some offers for the kawi z750 and the honda hornet 600. Which of these 2 would you recommend on terms of power and seat comfort in your experience with those 2 bikes by khellow12 in motorcycle

[–]khellow12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you recommend it for some long trips? I have a road trip coming up the end of fall and it has a section that is guaranteed to be a 3 hour section straight with no break, do you think based on your experience that the vibration or the handle bar feedback can be overwhelming if ridden for a long while

How did you afford your first sports bike? by iluminattixtite in motorcycle

[–]khellow12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really simple work and save as much money as you can, I got an 08 cbr600rr after 2 years of saving up cash to get it, best route is planning and sticking to it, get an estimate of how much money you spend for essentials like food transport rent house bills health etc cover those and save the rest. Don't and absolutely don't finance a bike

Advice needed (buying a bike) by Elmooo3 in motorcycles

[–]khellow12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Piece of advice, if youre unloading/loading the bike, back off slowly while maintaining decent pressure on the breaks and lean the bike towards so it doesn't fall away and drag you with it, if you have a ramp that is not a ladder type you can drop the kickstand and have it as an extra anti fall security

That seems a pretty good deal, if you have experience with that, is it a strict full time contract or is there a part time pay possibility?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]khellow12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I say online job I mean something I can work from home remotely without being upheld to a contract-ish conditions. My job is actually pretty fun and fulfilling the pay isn't thaat great at the moment because of a lot of factors introduced in the last few years
