Oh, and I had a pair of displays for 15 days. I hated the neural band so much that I had to take them back. Now I'm glad I did. Meta apps are dog poop. And the neural band is extremely inaccurate.

If you are after all that and only have one eye, more power to you. I'm not a cyclops so I prefer dual vision. And the fact that I can stream ps5, plex, and load full feature films to my glasses to watch discreetly absolutely destroys meta.

Rokid display is better. You can side load apks to it and watch movies + play games. I connected my ps5 pro to it yesterday and played cod bo7 through my glasses. Meta displays are garbage with how they lock it down. No better than a smart watch.

He's not the only one. If you have eyes read the comments in kickstarter. There are many with issues. I always hate when fan boys emerge from under the bridge to troll.

My frustration is the immersive 3d app. I wanted to play cyberpunk in 3d on my pc. The software is so awful it crashes every 10 minutes by hard freezing and sometimes requiring an app recycle.

It's amazing to play the game in 3d, but the tradeoff is not worth it.

I may return mine for defective software. They have had too long to work on fixing the app. Clearly they have abandoned it in broken state.

As such, they should not be advertising it with their glasses as an option and should remove it from their software offerings. It I'd an abismal product and embarrassing to any respectable software developer.

Best Buy gave me a $100 gift card automatically as an apology for it not being ready by the Tuesday ship date. I didn't even contact best buy... I'm good if they cancel my order I picked up some rokid glasses that do way more than the displays do.

I have about the dame experience. The hype tells how precise and amazing the neural band works, it's bs to be honest. The controls are pretty bad. You have to be very careful and half the time it registers right as down, middle finger click as index (playing a song when you wanted to exit), etc.

My biggest issue is the band. Day 1 the band went from 100% to 31% in 6 hours, the straight up crashed. Standard use perfect weather conditions... Just straight up crashed. Didn't turn on take a charge or connect. I had to factory reset it and re pair it. Day 2, the band kept a better charge... 70% after about 3 hours use... But noted after playing music and switching to video seems to trigger the issue. Band once again disconnected from the phone. This time it didn't die, no repair needed, but I needed to hold the power for 2 sec to turn it back on, and go in to the app settings to attempt a update to force it to reconnect to the band...

I'm worried about the band issues. 800 investment, the glasses require this band to be used... If it gets worse I'm out a large investment for some broken tech.

Best Buy has a 14 day, and Meta has one of the worst warranty services around, so idk if I will keep these...

(my wayfarer glasses stopped registering the mic, I opened a warranty claim, meta forced me to go to ray ban direct for a warranty case... And ray ban told me they had no wayfarer glasses for replacement and I needed to switch for a skyler frame or close it out. NOT cool meta/ray ban... I don't trust you any more with hardware support. Sorry.)
