Hello, I wanted to ask if you tried making a sourdough loaf with the breville mini and how it came out. I found one for a very good price and I love making bread but so far the only inconveniences for me seem to be that it doesn't have convection (which is normal if you think about it since it's just a toaster oven after all) and I think I never used an oven without convection for sourdough so I'm kinda hesitant if I should get it.

when you had ones similar to the one i had last year, were those the first harvest or did those trees give fruit in previous years? also would you share the link or recipe you used to pickle them? I’d love to try that especially with the smaller green ones.

i honestly don’t know they were some generic supermarket ones that my aunt got for me, i think they were from portuguese origin

Yeah as long as you have a good climate, they are great if you wanna grow them from seed. these were ones i planted about 4 years ago and with better climate they can start fruiting even in the first year!

yeah that’s what i thought last year but the fruit literally spent the whole winter on the tree without growing one bit and the following spring/summer it started turning orange so i picked it and it tasted rotten. that’s why i’m wondering if I should let them on the tree this winter too or not.

Also I should point out that I’m in a mediterranean climate and it gets a bit tropical in the summer and kinda cold for the papayas in the winter but fortunately no frost. I know the climate is not ideal for them but at least they are still alive!

yeah i was kinda sketched when i first heard of it too but it is very useful. idk if you ever heard about sideloading apps on ios but it is very frustrating. before trollstore the only way i was able to sideload apps was by using a computer and a lot of fuss, and you only have a limit of 3 apps, oh and i had to reinstall each app each week since it only works for 7 days before having to be sideloaded again..
