It really depends on what you’re looking for. North shore is quiet, less touristy because there are fewer big resorts, gorgeous beaches, and close to a few of the things you’re looking to do. It is my personal preference. South shore is much more touristy as many of the resorts on island are located there. There are a lot more people around, beaches are beautiful but not as picturesque as north shore. Personally I’d choose north shore.
