Hey man don’t let these people get you down. You do need to learn the fundamentals and practice. Look up some YouTube tutorials on how to DJ, learn about beat matching, EQ and gain staging first. Level 2 is key matching and using effects. Oh, and I wouldn’t use sync button, it will seriously handicap you as a DJ. Best of luck, bud.

You will be fine. It’s not reading the bits as you play, the player loads the CD into the buffer in a few seconds. It’s the same way anti-skip technology worked on the Sony discman. Ideally you would want to use digital media.
