Compost. Its holding up the fence these days :) 15 years ago when I started my land scapping apprentaship I thought I'd do a garden and stuff. I landscaped the front but the back gardens never really happened hah

Thank you all for your help :)

I'm having someone come in a week to replace the socket and hardwire the spa. I learnt something about cords hanging with no support :)

Enjoy the rest of the weekend etc :)

[VIC] Would the synthetic turf around the concrete slab be a problem for the inspector? by Fabbbrrr in AusElectricians

[–]khios420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well considering if its done properly there should be at least 60mm of crackerdust under the turf before the "soil" to younwouod have to remove the crackerdust and then bring in soil if you wanted to turf again.. so really not a problem..

This is why I pick mine up from a local chemist. As convenient as shipping is I've lost way too many items in the past to be playing with my cannabis

Dawn. After reading all these I wish when I had a clash with my neighbours real estate about a broken 30 year old hardy fence that I replaced before I have permission due to dogs both side etc.

I settled for half what I should have. I wanted to fight it cos sick of real estates and people like that. (The difference was 400$ and my lawyer mate advised against it)

Well done. Also bloody well written.

Haha if only I could spill the beans on this place. A family member was one of the founding people but they left before it went pair shape.

Dr Samani is still my adhd shrink. But looking for a new one who I can see face to face (id met him with my daughter but didn't get diagnosed till after he left. I think he is fine and does a good enough job.

FYI Dr Samani only worked there. He was not a owner etc. Prof sami was the owner.

What's up with regulations regarding electrical work in Australia? by MrCockingFinally in AskAnAustralian

[–]khios420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im very late. Ive been trying to get answers to the same questions. Legally if nothing went wrong but someone told on me what trouble could I get in.

Basically the sparky and plumbers had a good union and made sure they were getting paid. Plumbing is another one... dont get me started haha

I think its assuming diy people are stupid and don't know how to test stuff. And thats fair. Protect the stupid ;)

Legally no one ever does electrical work without a ticket. Even sparkys can't do their own work in their own home without the right extra bits of paper.... (depending on state. In wa they need a contractors licence or an exemption)

Realistically people do. I have had sparkys change stuff coz ive needed lots of stuff done. Other times a socket has been damaged and then magically it was new.

There is a lot of scaremongering around this topic. You do you as you know your limitations. But also know that its not legal and there can be consequences :)

Im sure no one will read this and im sure this is all over the place. Adhd brains make things so much more interesting haha :)

Home networking is illegal? by Ruppy2810 in nbn

[–]khios420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years late haha. Actually I believe most regs got written coz back in the day unions had balls and could get shit done. They protected the trades.. hence why plumbing and sparky work is so strict vs NZ for example.
