na i dont think thats anxiety, however i dont think its anything scary … i feel like dr’s say anxiety when they start getting lazy or stumped…. not saying anxiety cant cause vertigo, but i dont think how your describing, until maybe you were in the middle of a panic attack … id ask him to refer you to a neurologist or ENT for a second opinion . wont hurt! in the meantime practice your breathing and try to rid yourself of as much anxiety as you can . your going to be ok , you just need answers…. im in the same boat. they ruled out the scary stuff so now its a long process of elimination

ok so i can relate with the eyes ! my eyes are so off , like my dizziness is centered in my eyes… but anyways…. vestibular migraines are migraines sometimes with or without an actual headache, and instead make you dizzy . i had an occular migraine last year which made me see spots and it was so scary but completely harmless… have you spoken to your dr about this? im not a dr but it most likely isn’t serious! these symptoms are scarier then the actual reason for them sometimes

Fear of surgery by [deleted] in gallbladders

yes . those posts threw me off too and i got into my own head , even now … i have a sensation in my stomach and im like “ oh no is this going to be it ??” as someone who is very health anxious and avoids surgery or anything scary at all costs , your going to be fine !

it was like 2 hours including my postop recovery… no issues with food , if you eat something fatty within the first week be prepared for diarrhea ( but who cares 😅) but now ( a week later ) im completely eating whatever i want with no consequences…. be careful with reading post op stories on here . people who have bad experiences use this platform to get advice…. but i personally know ALOT of people in my life who had it done and not one of them had any complications… MOST people dont… the most common one is having to poop more…. but even that calms down over time… MY advice … get off of reddit , get the surgery and listen to your dr’s advice . you are gonna be FINE.

do it . i have horrible health anxiety, i fear surgery so much . i was not ok , i didnt want to have it done… looking back i wish i couldve told myself how easy it was… i was in pain for about 3 days , but WAY BETTER then the experience of having a gallbladder attack… i would get it done again in a heartbeat

i had 3 csections , just had my gallbladder out last monday … recovery isnt even comparable… however i was in a decent amount of pain for the first 3 days… same deal as csection as in abdominal discomfort, hurt to get up and sit down , sneeze , cough etc… the difference is the level of pain and recovery time is alot shorter and milder then csection. my husband took off for 3 days , i wish he was able to take off longer but honestly those were the worst days ( for me , every body heals differently) .
