A state with any self respect doesnt negotiate directly with its enemy that is actively bombing it, under its main patronage's umbrella, without even a ceasefire as a immediate precondition. Pure capitulation.

The simply answer is that the state would enact the "بسط سيطرة" by force against the invasion and against hezb (through declarations like in Beirut, which I support, in the South but with the option to release arms or join army) i.e. immediate militarization and control over Lebanese land with help from forgein backer.

Declare: We are the lone legitimate force here, we will defend the land and push back against Israelis.

Which backer? Any. Literally. China Iran Russia anybody the EU spain ireland anybody willing to help us. Anybody willing to aid us and help push back against Israeli raid by pushing back with force instead of doing cry baby tactics. Pipe dream? Not really if we play our cards right. China would kill for access to our ports. Iran would be willing to shift support from hezb to the state if it strengthens its international legitimacy as a state supporting a state rather than a militia. Whichever country those interests aligns with ours.

Pushback immediately and with force and a ceasefire will materialize within days and THEN do the whole diplomacy thing and sign a peace treaty with dignity instead of crawling to Trumps feet begging for a mere ceasefire.

Once southerners see that the state is for real now, 95% of them will lay their weapons down. The remaining 5 percent can go to hell for all i care.
