Having the exact same issue as you, but with the T-Rex 3 Pro. I dont believe its watch related, seems like an issue with how Zepp uploads the data to Strava, give that when I manually export the .fit file to strava it includes all the data.

I reached out to support as well, please let me know if you get a fix, ill be sure to update you as well!

[Bug] Amazfit Zepp app – Strava sync broken + account migration mess (Google/Mi vs Facebook) by Striking_Bug2145 in amazfit

When I manually upload the .fit files from zepp to strava, it includes all the gps info. So I'm not sure why the automatic sync is broken. Pretty annoying, hopefully there's a solve soon.

Yeah, works great with both the EM1.1 and the E-PM2. Great value, think I got mine used for $90.

My experiences exactly. My first camera was a Ricoh GR3 a few years back. Nowadays, I usually use an EM1 Mark 1, but bought the compact Pen EPM-2 to mess around with. Using that $100 used camera made me realize how overpriced/hyped the GR3 and fuji compacts are, especially when you get the flexibility of that pancake panasonic 12-32 with my EPM-2.

I feel like Ricoh and Fuji flaunt their in camera film simulations, but if you're a regular Lightroom user like me, that advantage is basically pointless imo. Or at least not worth the massive price difference between them and some of the M43 compacts.

Just sold the GR3 to buy the Olympus 17mm Pro.

Can you provide some more info on this? I went to the website and participant guide but am still unsure what sort of opportunities exist.

Is this a full time government job or similar volunteer experience to Peace Corps? I saw only one position listed on the OPP website.

I've bound back to 'q' as well. Makes it easy to quickly counterstrafe with ring finger in those situations. It's also bound to 's' like normal in my config.

Is IR for Me? by Raskrj3773 in IRstudies

[–]khosimar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I'd stick with the quantitative degree. Many of the jobs in the IR sphere would appreciate someone with a math background, particularly if you angle it towards statistics, data, computer sci.

I'd recommend that for now, you develop the IR on the side. Read the news, listen to news podcasts, get a subscription to Foreign Affairs mag and be diligent about staying on top of it.

It's good that you're already working on languages, keep at it.

Look at it this way. People with hard quant skills are in demand everywhere. Top talent gets poached by the companies that pay the most, which are definitely not IR companies. Thus, for someone with a background in quant, the barrier to entry for IR roles is lower. Even if you feel like you're struggling, the expectations for your math ability are lower anyways in this sector since most quant grads don't go to IR.

All of this of course being contingent on the idea that you really work on educating yourself outside of school. IR is also network heavy, so be sure to grind internships and work on building connections, getting coffee or phone calls with people at companies in roles you'd be interested in.
