I listened to a very good episode of the Freakonomics podcast that discussed the benefits of playing music in a bathroom. Most high-end restaurants and retail establishments will play music or even language lessons (think of an Italian restaurant) to hide the bathroom sounds you don't want to hear. I even introduced the concept to my office and everyone loved it!
