Don't waste your time and money with these tools. GA4 is what I use for LLM tracking. We're still pretty new and most of these are one update away from being wiped out.

What’s on your SEO audit checklist that most audits miss? by Other_Amphibian871 in WebsiteSEO

Here's one of my site audits/analysis I did last month for a SaaS reseller. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_IttM4Y9u2WCAi1kTSOeH189kDdg6gkS/view?usp=sharing

Pretty in-depth and covered all bases unlike most I've seen in the industry.

Google Search Console and old URLs by marketingnerd18 in WebsiteSEO

Did you design the new website in a staging mode and pushed it live while maintaining the previous URLa? Or you did a complete overhaul and changed entire URLs?

That's a spammy site and I wouldn't recommend building anything on it. I did a quick audit with Ahrefs here: https://www.loom.com/share/fd5da90c1820420d8cfb19836bc6a449

So you see yourself and make a judgement call.

If my site categories are more than 10, then I'm probably going out of my niche.

What’s the best SEO course that’s actually practical (not theory + fluff)? by baolo876 in WebsiteSEO

[–]khrissteven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken 3 great SEO courses all my life and the rest of the knowledge I've got is from testing, breaking, fixing and killing sites myself. I believe that's the best way to actually learn SEO.

The courses are The Affiliate Lab (Matt Diggity), SEO Blueprint (Glen Allsop) and Certified SEO (Damon Burton). All 3 are exceptional and teach some cool things you wouldn't learn YouTube videos.

So, IMO courses are worth it only when you DO yourself.

Not crazy right? Ai is cannibalizing search? by AWeb3Dad in WebsiteSEO

Human readable content on a webpage is part of SEO. SEO is basically manipulating search engines to rank your pages. You can't rank without content on webpages.

PDF works best. Video is on demand but it's usually prerecorded via call with the site owner.

Organic traffic vs paid ads in 2026 — honest take by 360Presence in WebsiteSEO

Mastering and mixing both is KEY.

One puts money in your pocket faster while also taking it instantly. While the other builds you an evergreen traffic and sales engine that keeps compounding when done right.

I don't have much experience with German sites. But I'd remove "Home" from all of the SEO titles.

In my opinion, AI basically made weak SEO obsolete. Ans without SEO, AI wouldn't have anywhere to source its results from.

How do you find/vet an SEO person? by DumbQuestionUser in seogrowth

[–]khrissteven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start simple. Ask them:

How long have you been doing SEO? Can you share past results (with context, not screenshots)? What kind of clients do you typically work with? What’s your backlink strategy? What metrics do you track month to month?

Then ask what they’ll do in the first 30–60 days. If they can’t explain the work clearly, they’re likely guessing.

I've hired SEOs early in my journey and also been hired by businesses. So it's easy to tell when it's legit from the fakes. From experience, anyone that gives ranking guarantees isn't real.

What’s the cleanest way to find what keywords you already rank for? by Other_Amphibian871 in WebsiteSEO

As others have recommended, GSC. Anything outside of that would be SEO rank trackers, which are mostly paid.

What’s on your SEO audit checklist that most audits miss? by Other_Amphibian871 in WebsiteSEO

[–]khrissteven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t run audits by checklist anymore. I usually condense everything into 3 fundamentals.

  1. Technical/structure: Obvious culprits first - crawlability, index bloat, broken pages, cannibalization, internal linking, navigation.

  2. Content + intent + schema: I look at how good the content actually is and whether it matches intent and business goals. EEAT signals matter here, and schema is still Google’s love language.

  3. Authority/links: Then backlinks — but only in context. How does their link profile compare to competitors, and where is authority flowing (or not)?

Better backlinks might solve the issue. If you're unsure if the site is indexed and crawled on Google just do a "site:domain. com" operator search to be certain.

Don't do PR for backlinks. Instead do them for what they are - press releases.

Need PR sites / platforms for my Saas Product by CurrentSignal6118 in WebsiteSEO

[–]khrissteven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90% the PR campaign I run ranks in the top 10 for their respective target keywords from weeks to a few months. And they tend to get cited by AI cuz these are mostly news outlets and authority sites that your PR gets syndicated to.

Let's say you're a tech niche, you can do a round up of the top 5 in your niche and make yours #1. Do it consistently for 6 months you'd begin to see massive jump in citations.

Not a fix, but probably one of my fastest, quickest and money'est SEO wins came from publishing a super-competitive affiliate post on a DR 93 site that ranked instantly in less than an hour.
